Not getting a sniff against that back line is a worry for any striker, regardless of service
-
I dont see people acting gleefully really,- especially as its costing us points.

Screams of Nunez is brilliant everyone else is shit? Or, more specifically, Nunez would be brilliant if Salah and Klopp weren’t so shit?

Keane could do with reminding that as soon as the oil money rolled into town United folded like a pack of cards never to be seen again, getting humiliated time after time by their most hated rivals. It was all rosy whilst they spent the most and had the chief ref in their pocket, not to mention opposition managers actually writing the 3 points off against them… Bruce, Robson, Hughes, Allardyce, McCarthy, Pulis…. It’s no wonder they dominated for so long and how far they have fallen- for years it was a fit up

We just don’t have time to wait for him to mature. I’m not sure he will ever be consistent- he will undoubtedly have purple patches but we need more than that and I’m sure we expected more than that for him. it hasn’t worked out that way- he would benefit from a move

To be fair, this is a minor victory that Keane and Neville will cling to like a bit of driftwood in a stormy sea. in fairness to them Carra and Souness haven’t hesitated sticking the boot in past few seasons. Carra and his 7-0 jumper has bitten him on the arse

Van Dijk would have been better not saying it. Should have reflected on how we should have been better

Think the mindset was ok but you need quality finishing. Jota would have been handy- the rest of the forwards are glorified midfielders or wingers

Arsenal won’t sit back. Wouldn’t be surprised if we battered them

Endo to get opening goal with a header. You heard it here first

Did you leave Virgil out of the line up to appease Hodgson> Team: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Quansah (Konate), Tsimikas; Endo (Gomez), Szoboszlai (Jones), Gravenberch (Gakpo); Salah, Nunez (Elliott), Diaz: -
I thought the Haaland comparisons were off the menu from the beginning? I’m not ready to be blaming the midfield for his lack of goals. Excitement? Love it, but give me goals all day. Come on Darwin lad- put this debate to bed in-the next two games!

Only if they earn less than £39,000 a year and are doctors

Howe is fucking ruining my fantasy team.

Unless Gakpo or Nunez transform into world class forwards before Jan Id be looking at getting a poacher like Toney. Someone who just racks up goals. A centre back signing would be a luxury but if we can just go for "we will score 3, what have you got?" we should see it through for 18 games or so as the defence and Alisson should see us through. Failing that, Suarez on loan before his Miami adventure would do!
-
Next two league games he should excel- neither opposition will sit back, plenty of space- big chance for him to build a head of steam. Im confident he will do it If we dont sign another forward in Jan this lad will be key in the title run in- one way or another

Has to be under pressure- they arent just losing, they are getting pasted
-
I only caught the last 20mins . On that basis it was a tremendous performance!

The team Nunez joined was coming off the back of challenging for the quadruple and beat City comfortably in the Charity Shield. None if us could have seen the debacle to come. Your right though, it’s daft to debate it at all really
-
Mane signed for us when he was 24 (Nunez was 23?)and instantly lifted us a level. Spreadsheet numbers may not stack up but he joined a side in its very early stages of developing with some pretty average players and was one of the major catalysts to our success in the years to come. Nunez doesnt compare despite the fact he joined a far better Liverpool team. I want Nunez to be the top scorer in Europe because he plays for my club and seems a thoroughly decent lad but to suggest he gets 3 years (from the age of 23/24) to hit decent heights is 3 years we havent really got

Wow, that was emotional. I was crying in unison with him! Brilliant by the club- it was separates us from the rest

I admire your positive outlook on them. To me they are just delaying the inevitable where they become unbearably successful through fair means or foul.

Once Howe goes I think you'll see an acceleration of the "project"
