  1. But, but, but..... Only 15 months ago they beat us in Thailand in the Bangkok Centenary Cup and were destined for World domination. Us! The team that had just played every single game we possibly could in one season. The team that just fell short of the quadruple no less. Oh for those halcyon Siamese evenings again....

  3. Le Tour de Monde! He can wear the maillot jaune one more time.
  4. Indeed he did! It is just another chapter in the book that is Ste Gandy.
  5. Greetings and salutations comrades. I bring news from the front. We played Morecambe last night and won 4-0. We played pretty well in the first half, had some good periods of possession and were winning 3-0 at half time. Second half the conditions got a little bit worse and the football suffered a wee bit but overall we did ok for the first game. Fleetwood on Friday will be the next challenge. Everyone is loving Chester except British Airways have lost my suitcase with the Gandyji in it! It didn't make it with me from Heathrow back to Manchester so the great man is in transit somewhere. Kind of funny as well as fitting for him and I'm sure he is pissing himself laughing about it! Anyhoo... I will be coming back to Liverpool on Friday afternoon, either with Steve or not. Hopefully the suitcase arrives in time but if not I will be back the following weekend. Keep biting those tiles comrades. Kev
  6. It's been a while since I last posted on here with varying things going on in my life but the time has come when I get on the plane Sunday and will be back home on Monday morning. Cardiff 10th October, 7pm - Venue TBC Exeter City 12th October, 6.45pm Swindon Town 13th October 7pm, Melksham Town FC, Oakfield stadium, Eastern Way, Melksham, SN12 7GU I'll be in Liverpool every weekend and then I'm staying on after the Swindon game until the 31st October. I've got the Gandyji packed and ready for his final journey so hope we can all catch up somewhere, sometime. See you all soon, keep biting those tiles comrades. Kev
  7. Here's some footage of a goal the lads scored on the weekend in a 5-1 win. These kids can play. See you soon! Every kid touches the ball Fluid formations, we follow the Dutch curriculum based on players playing any position at any time. Obviously you can see pass and move football but there is so much work that goes into something that looks so easy VID-20220820-WA0001.mp4
  8. Hi Col, Team is staying in Bristol from 7-15th October. I'll probably stay in Liverpool from the 7-9th and head down a bit later if I can catch up with family, try and get to a match etc. Staying at the Leonardo hotel, haven't bought breakfast so I'll take one of your specials!!
  9. Morning everyone. Didn't know where to put this but as you may or may not know, I have Ste Gandy aka Gandyji aka Tile Biting Comrade's ashes in my possession . I am bringing my under 16s team to England on 26th September until the 14th October to play the following teams: 28th September vs Morecambe 30th September vs Fleetwood 3rd October vs TNS (Wales) 4th October vs Everton (TBC) 6th October vs Mansfield Town 10th October vs Cardiff City 12th October vs Exeter City 14th October vs Swindon Town Would love for Green Jesus to make an appearance at some of the games of possible! I will be staying in Chester but will obviously be in the North West for the first fortnight before we go to stay in Bristol. I'm thinking of coming to Liverpool on the Friday's until Sunday and then heading back to where we are staying and would love to arrange a catch up with everyone to bring the Gandyji along as he wanted his ashes spread at Anfield (which I know could be challenging!) I know it's footy on the General Forum but I did not cum on her to be told differently and I didn't want to upset the long haired beautiful bastard by putting my kids tour dates on the footy forum. Would love to meet you all and have a pint and I might even try and persuade that stingy bastard Furmedge to find me a ticket somewhere! These lads are a good team that I'm bringing. My nephew just got signed by Port Vale from them so I wanted them to experience playing here as well as the opportunity for some teams to have a look and sign them. They are trying to get to a few games as they are all footy fanatics so however I can help them I will. Keep biting those tiles comrade!!! Kev
  10. Ok. And what would you offer as a reason?
  11. I'm assuming the Israeli government has decided not to allow their weapons technology be provided to Ukraine based on the possibility that the Azov battalion is a neo-Nazi group? That would be political suicide in the Knesset as the public would demand the government be ousted immediately. EDIT - I'm sure there will be another "explanation" which will be a bit more diplomatic in its reasoning which won't be offensive to either side but I'm guessing a Jewish state potentially has issues providing neo-Nazis with weapons.
  12. Sorry about above, tried to delete something and it wouldn't let me. PSG just cost me £20k the absolute shit cunts. 12 leg multi all got up except those surrender monkeys.
  13. God forgive me. I had been making mental notes for the last week to remember the great man and got too fucking caught up in my own world to pay my respects. My lads won a tournament on the weekend Steve. I've taken your advice and tried to make things happen. I'm bringing them to Europe in September / October. They are playing PSV, Utrecht, Bruges, Genk and then coming to England to play some pretty big games too. I'm working for Liverpool FC academy here now too, almost as if you have given the universe a nudge for me. I'll be home in October to spread your ashes that I've held onto and would love to meet some of the forumites I've interacted with for years. Rest easy comrade, keep biting those tiles and shine on you crazy diamond. YNWA ever Kev
  14. Whoever it is make sure he speaks to the Austrian studs guy or the Schnithouse cunt as he is known as
  15. I coached the lad who scored the Aussies second for a couple of years when he was 14/15. I said back then that the kid is an exceptional talent. Has an extremely low centre of gravity, quick, creative, uses both feet, natural finisher but he left Sydney FC to join the oil twats at Melbourne City (Man City owned) this season. Was definitely man of the match in the Grand final here and is only 19. I think he has a real chance of playing at a high level
  16. You could not make this fucking shit up. I thought I heard it the first time but listened to it again. Right at the very end someone yells out "You scouse bastards." Brilliant.
  17. My favourite was when his interpreter got booked after VAR ruled a goal out.
  18. Ange could be a very astute signing for Celtic. When he was coach of the Brisbane Roar they were undefeated for the the best part of two seasons, playing some of the best football ever in the A-League (no real mean feat I know) He is very attack minded, his team principles are all about possession with purpose, fast paced counter attacks and quick, intelligent movement from the front 4 or 5 and he was trying to implement a 3-2-4-1 system for the national team. He went to Japan and has evolved his methods and philosophy further where he has won the title as well playing that style of football. He is a massive red and when you watch his teams you can see that pass and move style of the 80s which he fell in love with. I have been lucky to know him through some people I work with in football. He is an extremely deep thinker, a student of the game and I am curious to see if his methods can translate into the Scottish game. If he is given the time then Celtic will play a very attractive style of football in the next couple of seasons.
  19. The American version of Absolutely Fabulous looks a bit underwhelming.
