I think Liverpool are also playing a derivative of this formation at the moment. van Dijk and another CB with high mobility as well as ball playing skills, two fullback / wing backs that have engines with a holding midfielder. Two centre midfielders who are box to box. One with speed and strength, the other with high endurance who can link up quickly with the front three on the counter as well as break up play high up the pitch. A front three who are fast, skilful, highly interchangeable and direct. Five up front, five at the back with two either joining attacks (wingbacks) or two joining defence (higher midfielders). Keita fits this mould. Rabiot would excel in it and we maybe sign a great ball playing centre back and a rapid forward to cover the front three and we are looking extremely strong.

Ah cool mate no worries. I was being a bit of a smart arse which you picked up on (replacing a CM with a winger) which we have prior for. I think Mor, Coric and Brandt could play anywhere across the front five positions for me they have that much talent. That suits Klopp's heavy metal football of attack from all angles with interchanging players at pace. Keita also suits that style and has it all in the locker and potentially Grujic if he can kick on as his back up. If you look at our midfield stocks Can is probably off, Lallana has an injury cloud over him, Coutinho I think is gone in the summer, Henderson has heel issues, Jimmy Milner hasn't got too long left, Grujic needs more game time which he might get if Can leaves, Wijnaldum needs to step up and Oxlade-Chamberlain becomes the utility squad player. But yeh we are desperate for 2 CBs and a keeper. The Liverpool Way! Haha!

The wheels have been falling off at Barca slowly but surely the last few seasons which remind me of the Liverpool team late 80's early 90's. Our own success was our biggest downfall. We couldn't replace the players and the managers that we had and the aura started to slip a little. Paisley, Fagan, Dalglish, Barnes, Whelan, Molby, Nicol, Hansen, Lawrenson and Grobelaar were all mainstays and important cogs in the wheel. We changed the Ferrari parts with Volkswagen spare parts expecting the same results and paid the price. Barca have been the same. Casillas, Puyol, Xavi, Alves, Sanchez, Abidal were all important players and now Iniesta, Messi, Busquets, Mascherano and Suarez are all getting on, Neymar has left, Pique isn't all that and they are now where we were 25 years ago. The aura has slipped and the appeal just isn't what it used to be. Neymar is a massive trouble maker and part of this new breed of player. Toxic influence who can't be trusted and you wouldn't want anywhere near your club. He will leave PSG when someone offers more money in a couple of years or if the Qatari government buy someone in a warmer climate. I am hating the new interpretation of the "advantage" law... A few times the All Blacks had advantage for a pen and then went 4-5 phases downfield making 30-40 metres, kicked the ball which nearly resulted in tries twice that were then pulled back to the original infringement. Seemed like for 25-30 minutes there was a square up for the sending off. Vainikolo was gassed and should have been off earlier. Sin bin forced Gatland's hand to keep him off but as soon as the Lions settled down and kept possession the last 10 minutes or so was a lot better. In saying that about Vainikolo, the Barrett incident where he was tackled after kicking the ball was no different to Farrell being taken out either in the first half. The officials shit themselves after the send off. Taking Kaino off for a back was a massive decision for the Blacks and I think it cost them in the end. Next weeks test should be a belter
