Mertesacker instead of Huth. Pascal Groß over Ziege. Not even sure if Grosß can play left back, he seemingly plays everywhere else. I’m just scared as Ziege’s face from some of his performances for us, his gift in the 4-3 Viduka game still pisses me off. Agree with the rest.

If this talk of them wanting Quansah or Elliott being true, I could see that dragging things on a bit. Do either player want to leave? Do they want to leave their friends / family to go to Germany? Can they be arsed learning German? Do they want to play for that bum Ten Hag? Personally, I think it would be a great move for either player, I could see why they might be hesitant or at least want time to think it over. I doubt either player would be included directly in a part exchange deal, I assume we’d give them preferential terms on either player to smooth though Wirtz, although Leverkusen will obviously want to know that in advance.
