  1. I completely agree. It’s the upcoming game I’m most worried about. After Madrid and City and (hopefully) the emotion of significant wins, it could be a bit “after the Lord Mayors show” type syndrome and be leggy. Hopefully players like Trent, Jota, Elliott and even Chiesa, could come into the squad and lift us.
  2. As much as I was his biggest fan and loved watching him play, in the hindsight, no, I wouldn’t have signed him. For the money he cost (salary, wages, medial fees…) we didn’t get enough back. Caicedo & Odegaard moved during that period window. We could have signed both, comfortably.
  3. This will be Raul Ascencio’s 3rd ever start. Still, that bozo from the mancs had a great game last season and we blew it. Didn’t see Lucas Vasquez on this list. Apparently he’s been out injured, he was expected to be out next month, his return is a surprise.
  4. Well, we can’t ask for a better opportunity… Full strength and attack them like our lives depend on it. Same questions again… Is Alisson fit or Keheller, Is Trent fit or Bradley, Robbo or Tsmiskas, Szoboszlai or Jones, Diaz or Gakpo? Personally, I’d play Diaz up front in this and I think that was part of why Gakpo was taken off on Sunday. I think Rudiger would enjoy playing against Nunez, more of a physical battle. Just. Fucking. Win.
  5. Mo and his agent were pulling similar stunts then as well.
  6. The penalty and the Lallana challenge? I thought Lallana was fortunate to escape a red, IMO, he was out of control. The penalty, my gut said outside the box but I think it’s inconclusive. I thought we were fortunate to get away with the Kelleher challenge on Armstrong at 2-1.
  7. I didn’t enjoy 1 second of that game today, fuck it, we won. Always hard after internationals, shit weather, extra pressure from yesterday making supporters more anxious, a game we’re clearly expected to win, not at our best, we all know what a huge week we have coming up… Feels like it could be huge. Like the win at Villa in 19/20.
  8. He should have won it previously. Phenomenal footballer. Unfortunately.
  9. I’ll maintain my position I’ve had all the way through - although they will have some wins, they’ll be found mostly guilty, they’ll get record punishment (fines, points, transfer bans etc) and everyone will think they got off lightly
  10. Wasn't the Villa guy moaning in the summer they had to let Luiz go because of PSR but its unfair because they had the CL money coming in this season which would have solved their issues? I sort of agree with him to be fair. PSR = Profit & Sustainability Rules. It's not like selling a player and all the variables that come with that (eg Forest & Johnson), they were getting a guaranteed windfall.
  11. Because they've had PSR trouble.
  12. Funny City seemingly have lost Chelsea's support now. I assume that because of these inter-company loans thing being brought into PSR.
  13. How? They thought the previous rules were unlawful, which was very loosely agreed upon. The laws have now been made lawful and they lost the vote to implement them. God damn tyranny of the majority / democracy.
  14. Pannick on the streets of London…
  15. I bet the 4 was City, Forest, Villa & Chelsea. Fuck them.
  16. Sure she’s just been indicted in some of Vince’s sex scandals.
  17. Looking forward to Slot's comments tomorrow on the contracts and Coote.
