Again, it’s a part story from a reputable LFC journalist, read or don’t. If you don’t like what I post, put me on ignore, like I have you. I’ve no idea why you’ve tried to pick an argument this morning. It’s as pathetic as having a pop at me for posting I go to games. Hopefully you look a big man to the rest of your human centipede buddies. I will ask people at away why they think Dad is sound and I’m a cunt. Considering most of the people I hand around with at games these days have been to my house for BBQ, been to European aways with me and actively meet with me for bevy’s before games, in most cases, I can’t be too insufferable… And why would you be mentioning my Dad? Again, somebody you’ve never met. The type of fan you are, he’d, rightly, think your an absolute prat. Weird. Oh, that old vague comment….

Looks like something the Hodgson team would have worn.

Transfer rumours, in the transfer thread. It’s the point of the thread. There is a difference between this and using it as a starting point for a discussion compared to you and your human centipede of doom with all your hilarious zingers about our transfer dealings, most of which are most just made up lies you’ve told yourself so many times it’s become truth in your own heads. The again, you know all this, I’ve pointed this out to you before, you’re just trying to play up to your “Col” forum persona and looking to be a big man taking a needless pop at me first think in the morning. I enjoyed the Greg Wallace comment, myself and other people from the forum who think you’re an incredibly large twat (of which there are many) had a good old laugh at that comment. It does seem a strange as I’ve never met you, I have zero intention of ever meeting you and any photos on the forum I put of myself I blur my face… weird.

IMO, Gakpo should be our starting left winger. I wouldn’t entertain selling him. On Diaz and Jota, I don’t think anybody would actively be looking to sell them, there are question marks over both of them though. I think Slot views them both as starting players. Both started the season and no everyone is fit again, both are still starting. Diaz was the first of our players linked to Saudi, before Hendo & Fabinho. Unlike the clubs rejection of their bid for Salah (ie he’s not for sale) the line in the press was “it would take more than offered for Liverpool to consider selling”. I think the club are open to it. The Barca stuff has never gone away (although I doubt they could afford him). There are always stories he’s unhappy with his contract, which expires in 2027. He’s been linked to Saudi again this year. I wouldn’t be looking to move him on, especially as Salah will be at the AFCON next year and could miss c.10 games and Diaz can play in all 3 positions, however, if he wants to push it & we get a good fee, I wouldn’t necessarily stand in his way. Similar with Jota. His contract also expires in 2027. It obviously seems like we’re looking at signing a #9 in the summer. Is Jota happy coming from the bench and starting less important games or does he view himself as somebody who should be in the first 11 every week? Then you have his injuries to consider. Like Diaz, I don’t think I’d actively look to move him on, if he wants to push it & we get a good fee, I wouldn’t necessarily stand in his way.

How dare I post something, from a respectable LFC journalist, about a players we’ve all discussed, in the transfer thread… I complain about posts in Transfer Threads because of prats like yourself, despite the collection of trophies we have over the last few years, moaning we never make enough transfers. There is a very real difference. Tedious cunt…yawn. Go make a couple of slices of toast and post food thread, because that’s the height of excitement.

I’m still scared from the last striker we signed from that league…
-
Have to admit, I think he’d be the player I go for. Just turned 25, speaks perfect English, history of scoring goals, out of contract in 2026… I think he’s more of a sure thing that Ekitke and cheaper than Alvarez. I don’t think Isak is realistic.

Even match threads are being polluted by utter shite now… Anyways, I watched the Slot presser, like last week after the Salah news, you’d barely know we had a game based on the questions being asked. I don’t expect a different line up to the previous games since the break. I’m in the Leicester end on Sunday, just a block from our support, hopefully we’re so many up everybody around me fucks off early in the dejection at their relegation (either inflicted by us or in a 2pm kick off). Just fucking win.

I very heavily caveated my post…

Spurs the better side in Frankfurt. Ekitike not in the game.
-
They’ve got their answer on their last game at Woodison…. 12pm on the Sunday.

I don’t agree. While I agree that Gakpo isn’t the quickest over 10 yards, I think he’s one of our fastest over 30+ yards. I do appreciate that to be a winger, the acceleration after the trick is equally as important as the trick itself. But anyway, Gakpo’s numbers are better than Diaz from a lot less minutes. Last season and this season. He’s got better goal scoring instincts, he’s very often there for tap ins. Hes got a great shot from distance and he’s great in the air as well.

Is there anyway we can sabotage the vote and make it this? Whatever it’s called, it’ll be a (Phil Neville) Dive Bar.

In my top 5 favourite ever goals for us. First time I’d seen us win at that dump. Some of them boo’d the Hillsborough minutes. It was absolutely toxic. I was in the lower tier towards the back, so I could barely see fuck all. Given we had a great free kick to Hyypia which was well saved a couple of minutes earlier, I assumed we would do the same again and that McAllister sliced it in. That goal was the catalyst for an unforgettable last 6 weeks of the season.

Ekitike.

5 out. Although Doak & Morton haven’t offered anything this season. Mitchell, McConnell & Bajectic would count as home grown. Frimpong would be classed as homegrown as well. Huijsen / Hato would class as U21’s. Its definitely something we need to work any signing into / around.
-
Sell… Keheller - Unfortunately. Mamardashvili to replace. Gomez - Too injury prone. Huijsen / Hato / Guehi to replace. Endo - Likable but not good enough. I’m happy to let Bajectic & McConnell make a claim in pre-season, we need to be prepared to move if we still don’t think they are up to it. Nunez - Not good enough. Ekitike / Alvarez / Vlahović to replace. Robertson - This would hurt, a lot. He’s past it. Kerkez to replace Tsimikas - I actually think he’s been the better of the two left backs this season, he’s not good enough to be first choice. Tyrik Mitchell from Palace on a free to replace. Morton - Not good enough. No replacement needed. Doak - Likely not good enough. No replacement needed. Trent - Hopefully we have a Gerrard last minute change of heart, it’s unlikely. Frimpong replacement. Going off Transfermarket.co.uk, that would be c.£160m in and c.£180m out. There are players who I want to stay but lots of variables based on are we open to offers, is there contact impasses or players want to leave… Alisson - I sincerely hope he wants to stay. Konate - Contract. Elliott - Does he want to leave? Quansah - Does he want to leave? Diaz - Contract / Does he want to leave? Jota - A bit of all 3 Chiesa - Does he want to leave? Not going to make replacements for these, I do have views but it’s completely random guesswork.

They are all too much for me…. He’s right here though.

How can you forget Tolouse away?

I don’t really like these TAW jabronies, this is good though… https://x.com/theanfieldwrap/status/1912835671720353933?s=46 …some on here should take note.
