I was thinking this when I was up there. Why don't Rangers & Celtic have any money to spend? They are both in Europe every season and are getting progressively better each season. They both get 50,000 to 60,000 every home game. They can't spend as much on wages as Premiership clubs do. Their probably marketed better over the world than we are. Ok, their TV rights aren't as much as our but they would still be able to spend more money than they do on Championship players like Miller & Lafferty etc. Any ideas? Also, what was with all the Chelsea shirts yesterday?

^^^^ I was at Ibrox yesterday too. Seemed like a really big occasion for them. They couldn't have been friendlier outside the ground or in the pub we went too before the match. They did a roaring trade in 50/50 scrafs & t-shirts, of which 95% were being bought by Rangers fans. Belting atmosphere before kick off, felt like a big C/L game when the teams came out and they were all singing Simply The Best. Some of their reactions to YNWA made me laugh, a couple I could see in the main stand to the right of us were really losing. What do they expect? FOAR got a similar reaction at first too. The booing of Keane was pathetic but nothing to get upset about. Obvioulsey a good performance too. Gerrard, Keane & Torres linked well. Plessis was solid in midfield. Dossena looked keen to get forward at every opportunity. Bennynoon was lively throughout. N'gog, Spearing, Nemeth & Darby all looked promising in the 2nd half too. Good day out, would deffo go if we played them again.

Diouf was poor but not the worst. Shevchenko & Veron must be the worst two.

'Kinell lads, lets put some perspective one this. He's played 2 first team games last year. He had a very, very accomplished debut at Arsenal and did Ok at Birmingham. He's played a few pre-season games. He's put a few passes astray but who hasn't? On the whole his performances have been encouraging. He's 19, he's raw but he certainly looks to have a fair bit of promise. Give the lad a chance.
