  1. This forum is like the World Of Warcraft episode of South Park these days.

Lots of people want to engage & enjoy it.

Unfortunately, just as things get interesting, the high level player (although in case it’s high level cunts) wade into any thread and kill it dead with their aggressive, ill informed & lazy bullshit.

Ironically, I also think all these posters look like this…

“… F$G out, we never buy players, despite winning silverware we’ve never won a transfer window, Henry just wants more yachts, Linda is a money grabbing whore…”

    You’re a fucking bell end.

You’re a cuck, a shill and you’re from Leeds! Still can’t believe that.

Again, replying to a comment which has no relevance to you, after multiple requests to stop engaging with me (including yesterday) and commenting how fucking weird it is you keep following my posts, like creepy voyeur.

Do we have shills and agitators on here? Fervent attacks and defences.

Seems to mean more than our games.

IMO, the posts of us more pro-FSG’ers aren’t actually pro-FSG propaganda, it’s fact checking all the absolute bull shit that other posters say about them.

It’s like Everton supporters, they’ve told themselves the same lazy lie over & over & over it’s now a fact, despite actual facts indicating something entirely different.

Maybe that's shit business by the others too. Mac Allister and Gravenberch have yet to prove their worth though. Hopefully next month and May will change that.

    Shit business or market rates?

The bold bit is fundamentally untrue.

They were also targeting Konate, and I think tried to sign him in January, but it was a no go so they took the option of a short term move for a player which didn't prevent them signing the player they really wanted.

The Konate signing was made official the week after the final game of the season against Palace.

It was more or less an open secret we were signing him, I remember posting the stories from Rory Smith at the time.

Whether his injury or the fact we got RBL in the CL stopped him coming early, we’ll never know.

Something that’s always forgotten about… in the summer window we spent c.£70m on Jota, Thiago and Tsmiskas. We sold all ten. The first team staff knowingly went into the season a centre back short because the plan was play Fabinho in an emergency and have Thiago in midfield. Obviously the plan fell apart, but Klopp knowingly went into the season taking a “calculated risk” (his words).

Not saying we shouldn’t have done something in the January, it was really frustrating we didn’t. I do think whatever we did was on a hiding to nothing given our first 5 choice got injured.

It's a long time since we did 'smart business' on the pitch. I have little faith in it happening again. I hope so though.

Mac Allister and Gravenberch combined significantly less than Enzo Fernandes, Caicedo, Rice, Pogba, Casemiro, Mount etc says otherwise.

  7. Hopefully we get some good news in VVD and Salah.

Personally, at the start of the season I thought they’d all stay and I still think VVD & Salah will stay. As the season has gone on, it’s become more evident Trent was less likely to renew.

It’s annoying, I wish we’d have got a fee, we don’t know what we offered him or why he’s made this decision, I won’t give him any shit.

Kabak was merely an example if the half cocked approach we have taken to transfers under FSG. We have another manager in now & the last two windows have been full of the same excuses.

If only there was some evidence prove the inaccuracy of this...

Sounds daft, but I think he was. He took the view that despite the centrebacks being injured, they are still at the club- he's not going to replace them. They will play again. I remember him saying at the time, how can he try and sign a top Centre Back but explain to them they wont play once his first choices are fit again.

Kabak was playing for Schalke, who was managed by David Werner, Klopp’s best mate. I’m sure Werner will have put in a good word.

Even as second striker it's a risk because of his production, you'll lose the source of the majority of his goals here because he won't be taking penalties, although you'd hope to offset that by improved production in open play but that's dependent on the clubs predictive modeling.

I like him as a player you just need to find the right role for him, and build the goals around him, I'm just not sure his cost matches the role.

    A fair comment.

What type of striker we go for totally depends on Mo. If he stays it’ll be a player like Pedro or that Ekitike fella. If he goes we’ll go for a forward who as good as guarantees goals.
If Mo goes where are the goals going to come from. No one on the books now can get close to him or will get close to him. So a top nine will be a necessity.

I’m not sure what to make of Pedro. Sounds like we’ve tracked him since before his Watford days.

He doesn’t seem to score a lot from open play.

Obviously potential to get better in a better team.

If we sold Jota, I wouldn’t be against him

    being back up.

His stats have steadily improved and he’s 22 so lots of development in him. Let’s see what the club do.

It’s obviously a difficult one to say when comparing him to Isak as Isak has been great for 18 months or so, I like the limited amount I’ve seen of this lad.

    Younger, cheaper, potentially higher ceiling…

I think a bit of perspective is needed on the overall quality of the league champions this year compared with previous years.

We're closer to the Leicester City team than the top City team to have won the PL.

Our painfully empty diary in March is not a positive affirmation of our level.

    Nonsense.
