I take my little girl to school 4 mornings a week. We are never in a rush and even though it's her first year at school she's got into a little routine. The wife takes her one day a week, moans I'm not helping her and they are always on the last minute with loads of drama.

Just read an article that says prosecuting for terrorism brings in difficulties as the jury start thinking about the ideology rather than the crime. It's apparently easier to go for the obvious crime like murder as that can carry the same sentence. For example Lee Rigby's killers weren't convicted of terrorist charges. Obviously that makes the CPS racist as they didn't try and make brown people terrorists - oh, hold on, do I have that backwards? Funny line from article; This doesn’t always happen of course, and another case which fails to fit this notion of preferential treatment towards white killers, is that of Darren Osborne, who was convicted of terrorism against Muslims, but whose sole biographical information within the pages of the Metro consisted of a neighbours description of him as having “always been a complete cunt.”

As you said the main difference was it went from being something 'over there' to being on home soil. But any country would be impacted by such a massive and iconic attack. Imagine us losing Buckingham Palace or such like. Plus there weren't and still aren't many Muslims in the US so the average Joe wouldn't have had any interaction with them.

It's not the Tories, it's anyone in government. All of the vetting is carried out by the MOD and includes searches by MI5 and other agencies. For future reference any of you lot looking for a job in government or such like will soon have to hand over details of sites you frequent and they'll be vetted too. Imagine not being able to serve under JC for talking about burning Tories.
