  1. If both City/Arsenal drop points before we do, then I’ll really start to believe. That would give us a 4/5 point lead going into the final straight meaning we could afford the odd draw. 90 pts (7 wins /2 draws) has to be the target and I think that will be enough!

  2. Looking at the fixtures, it feels that the next 6 games are pivotal for us to take control of this title race.

    Liverpool played 24 54 pts

    City played 23 52 pts

    Arsenal played 24 52 pts

At this point all 3 sides will have played 30 games.

In this period we also have 2x Europa games / 1x FA cup game + League cup final

City play the same number of games ( 2x champions league /1x fa cup + their league game in hand.

Arsenal play 2 less games in the period than the other 2sides.

In this period City never play before us so if we win our games the pressure is always on them to ‘catch up’.

Still feel if we finish above City we’ll win the league and this period is arguably their toughest run of games where they’re most likely to drop points.

If we can beat City and take near to maximum points in the other 5 we should be in the pole position heading into the final straight.

If they were ahead of us at this point, I’d start to worry that history will repeat itself.

That back row seems pretty high for putting in front of hospos. Imagine forking out a load of money to have the Ev or Manc scruffs giving you loads all game.

It’s not hospitality behind the red boards it’s another couple of rows of seats plus a disability podium.
    https://map.3ddigitalvenue.com/liverpool

The upper tier overhangs the disability section which is situated at both ends of the lower and in the middle is another 3 rows of seats 32-35. To current back row is 31 and behind the is a gap which will be row 32 directly where the red boards are now situated.

They have the biggest Victim mentality of any fanbase around.

Going to be some proper bumming going on in the Brick tomorrow with their Manc friends. Glory hole's have been drilled in thr bogs ready to go.  Hopefully their team gets fisted by the mancs tomorrow.

I'd live to know how the fuck they have funded that stadium build when they don't have a pot to piss in?

According to the commission’s report the stadium is being funded by Moshiri. One of the mitigating factors pushed by Everton, was that they believed they were allowed to offset interest from non stadium loans they have against their stadium cost and lower their PSR calculations. Their argument was that had they borrowed the money Instead of Moshiri putting the money up, then they’d have been allowed to do so.

Moshiri has invested £400m over the past 3 yrs which appears to have funded the stadium so far along with £140m loan from MSP. Apparently they still need to find circa £200m to complete the project.

What doesn’t make sense is, what’s in this for Moshiri?

His total investment in Everton is circa £900m, including his purchase of shares and of this amount he’s owed around £500m in shareholder loans.

They have around £365m in external debts owed to MSP/R&M/Santander & 777 are pumping cash in to keep them afloat.

if 777 pay £500m to buy them out, Moshiri stands to get very little /nothing back which begs the question, is he stupid or does he have other plans for this stadium?

  5. They should count themselves lucky that the premier league allowed them to get away with the blag covid losses and the dodgy first dibs on the stadium naming rights. Without these allowances they’d have been £170m over the allowable loss amount and could have been deducted 40 pts if the reported 1pts for each 5mil loss + 6pts on top is correct.

  6. On the outgoings side of things, almost certain-

    Adrian

    Keita

    Ox

    Melo

    Milner

    firmino

    Who else likely to leave?

Kelleher ( wants game time )

    Matip ( 1yr left on contract )

    Phillips ( wants game time)

Thiago ( 1 yr left on contract)

    Carvalho ( Loan maybe )

Probably unlikely we let 11 players leave in one window but I’d say 8-9 will go, Thiago/Matip will probably see out their contracts.

We’d then need to buy on top of the midfield rebuild of 2/3 players

    a back up keeper,

a centre half unless matip stays.

Would we entertain an offer for Nunez ? If so we’d probably need an attacker ( ideally right side to back up Mo).

  7. This season is dead now, we’re not getting top 4 or past Madrid so we need to start preparing for next season now. Hopefully we avoid Europa/ conference league and then we can trim the squad and concentrate on the league next season.

Any player not in the plans needs to be bombed out right now, even if that means playing youngsters like Doak/Bajcetic etc.

Use rest of this season to try Trent in midfield to see if that works or not as it will be cheaper to replace a RB rather then a midfielder.

    In the summer sell/release

    Kelleher

    Adrian

    Matip

    Phillips

    fabinho

    Keita

    melo

    ox

    milner

    Bobby

    Loan out

    jones

    Bring in

3 Midfielders or 2 and a RB if Trent experiment works

    1 Centre half

    1 back up GK

I’d even sell Salah if a decent offer came in for him.

                          Alisson

    Gomez    Matip     Konate     Robbo

                          Bajcetic

                    Trent       Thiago

              Salah.   Nunez.     Gakpo

  8. It’s becoming clearer by the day that we aren’t signing any more players on this window.

Been bang obvious we need another midfielder all season, so if we we’re going to sign one then the groundwork would have been done before/during World Cup and it would have been done by now.

    Not happening unfortunately imo.

  9. Not buying a midfielder this window will cost us more then if we do buy one, as we won’t be getting top 4.

Surely this is obvious to the people in charge!

If they want caceido but don’t think he’s worth the asking price then tough we have to swallow our pride and cough up.

it’s totally our fault we’re in this position by not signing a midfielder in the summer.

  10. Only way we’re signing Bellingham is if he says he won’t go anywhere else similar to VVD. We can’t/won’t compete with City or Real when it comes to the fee or the wages.

The fact we haven’t ruled ourselves out makes me think something may have been agreed. We’re gonna look a bit silly If we end up being outbid after putting all out eggs on his basket from last summer.

  11. Are they flapping yet on the Liverpool GOT page about us possibly getting took over and starting to spend!

When it was City it was fair enough & why shouldn’t owners be allowed to invest but you know for certain we’ll be ruining the game if we start to match them.

    Hypocritical cunts.

  12. Don’t believe we need to rip up the squad and start again. All our problems stem from the midfield, fix that and we’ll be back firing again.

We need to sign 2 starting midfielders to play alongside Fabinho. One of them should have been signed last summer and one this and not doing so has led us to where we are today. Need 1 in Jan and 1 next summer, 2 new midfielders along with Fabinho/ Thiago/Henderson rotating should be sufficient.

Probably gonna need a forward to replace Bobby as well but 3 players over the next 2 windows should be beyond us.
