  1. Are you having a laugh, £5m for Swansea to release Rodgers, I'll wager Rodgers wasn't on £20k a week at Swansea, His coach's were probably on £3k a week max Where do you get that £5m figure from?
  2. How much do you think we paid Swansea for Rodgers and to releash Kenny? Kenny like any other high profile manager would have requested a transfer kitty of £20m plus, Prior to us signing Borini, what's the most money Rodgers as spent on a player?
  3. No they never, they went for a cheap option and dressed it up as being, forward thinking and progressive, Rodgers is the biggest gamble we taken with a manager in modern times
  4. He may have failed at Chelsea, but like Mourinho and Benitez in 2004, he was one of the most sought young coach's in Europe, Who,besides us (cheap option)was banging a drum for Rodgers
  5. Does that response mean, "I can't give you any points as to why Rodgers got the job" plus I don't need to be "cheered up" I'm in a pretty relaxed mood thanks
  6. I'll ask you like I've asked many a Red, give me some valid solid arguments as to why Rodgers got the job? other than he's our Manager, "just get behind him lad"
  7. Well for a manager who hasn't managed for 152 games and won nothing more than being "flavour of the month" I think he's a bit more than a gamble, Every new manager is a risk, some more calculating
  8. You really should try more, even that little cunt Purslow said it was a "bottom of the barrel deal" They bought us on the cheap and are approx £325m out of pocket
  9. The money you say they are "pumping" is into corporate facilities, "fattening the pig I think it's called, they've been over "60 days" closer to 20 months and they still haven't made a decision on whether were building a stadium or doing a refurb
  10. I could understand if they said they were going to leave the ground on hold until the market picked up, but there not pumping money on to the playing side either, I said when we got Rodgers that he was a cheap option and I still believe that, I like to know who made the decision to employ Rodgers
  11. I agree with John Henry, why would he expect us to get 4th if he not prepared to spend money to get us 4th
  12. Dalglish was 3 weeks into a temp job when we signed Carroll. he didn't get the job until May, Comoli, not Dalglish signed Carroll and Suarez
  13. Well considering we've paid close on £10m for a player who as yet to play 40 senior games, I think we should have some concerns, or is it just me
  14. Without getting embroiled in a argument with you, you basically hold a similar view to mine, I'll hold my council until the 1st of September
  15. We did have a choice, AVB Van Gaal Capello Benitez Rijkaard, would have all flew at the Liverpool job. Admittedly not every one's cup of tea,but all superior to Rodgers everyone of them has won a domestic league and a European trophy, this "the Owners are getting the best of advice" spiel that Ayer put out was bollocks and pure spin What "footballing Guru" nominated Martinez and Rodgers to the Owners? no Guru existed, get used to it, were rapidly getting closer to Everton than to United
  16. The job is way to big for Rodgers, all this bollocks about how the want to go with a younger man is a sly underhand way of getting a cheap alternative
  17. Ayer is on record as saying if Kenny won the FA Cup he would still have got the sack, to win 2 Cups and be sacked cannot in anyway shape or form be good for the club, Unless Ayer is a lying cunt? now there's a thought
  18. We took 27 points out of a possible 57 points at home, That as to be improved, regardless of a new manager coming in, the players we have (hopefully strenghtend) I'll be disappointed if we don't get 65 points
