It's not about the money being spent, it's about identifying specific areas in the team and paying what is necessary to get upgrades in those areas.

Barca have no economic levers they can use this summer, have huge debts to service and a salary cap that cannot be increased whilst also trying to get Gavi registered on a new, significantly increased contract. Barca are a non entity unless they sell about 6 first team players.

At which point we will walk away and say there is no value in the market. Although for the next couple of seasons I don't think Barca will be paying the prices let alone the wages that even we are looking at.
