20 fouls to 12, having more possession and against a team that also is very aggressive in the press, ie lots and lots of players jostling for the ball in tight spaces. Their only card was literally as the clock hit 94 fucking minutes. I think it makes the players a bit gun-shy after they've seen the way the game is being reffed. It can look lethargic, and maybe some of it was. But it's human nature when you've seen one of their players lean in then just fall down for an easy foul to start hesitating with further challenges.

There's only been one other match played since it all went down, until now. They've absolutely done the right thing to get all this out in a time frame where there's been little else to discuss.

Always been a big fan of Ange, but to use another cricket phrase, he played a very straight bat to all that...and almost too much so. At the very least, he should be having a word to his players about their post-match antics. Embarrassing stuff. Never seen a Mankad in 25 years of playing either, Brownie!
