Arsenal remind me a bit of Pochettino's Spurs - really aggressive, play at a crazy tempo, but with not that much substance beneath the intensity of the  press. As has been said elsewhere, in spite of how poor we were, without gifting them two goals we probably come away with at least a point.

Agreed they beat us this week and next week they will give away 3 points to a team they should soundly beat

  2. Whoever it's going to be I think we need to know within the next 2 months and get Trent on a new contract by the end of the season those would be my priorities. What we don't need is to pissing about when the season has ended trying rush things because that never goes well and that's my biggest fear. Then you have Mo and VVD a year left on their contracts and would be a huge miss but we can't afford to let them go on a free next summer.

I'm still struggling to get my head around Klopp leaving  I've never been so gutted in my 40 years of being a Liverpool fan to see a manager leave I never thought something like this could be so gut wrenching.

No, the job is too big for him. As was the Chelsea one.

You need someone that has a killer mentality. And Potter isn't that, his name is Potter ffs. Can you really imagine doing an anfield tour in 30 years and listening to the tour guide talking about the "Potter era". No, you can't....

Oh, she he's supposed to be a tight fisted cunt.

Didn't the fat one on the under the cosh podcast play with him, said he's a lovely fella, but the tightest guy you could ever imagine.

I Chelsea job was a poison chalice no matter who took it mate I think the likes of Klopp and pep would have struggled with such an unbalanced team and an owner running like a rabbit on speed buying anyone he could without an ounce of thought. I think to a degree the liverpool job will be abit of a poison  chalice aswell with such big shoes to fill my heart says Alonso but my head says too soon for him and I think whoever comes in we will always be judging him on Klopps record.

  4. Graham Potter for me. He is youngish he did an excellent job at Brighton, plays attacking football yet also knows how to get a team to defend when needed. Forget his Chelsea record he was given a total clusterfuck of a team and an owner that wanted to play football manager 24 and that hasn't changed. Unfortunately who ever comes in we will be in yet another transitional period but Potter has shown in the right environment he can build a team that's hard to beat on a shoestring budget but give him a proper budget and get his players I think he would be a great choice.

I've said loads of positive things about him when he isn't being a donkey or missing open goals, so not sure  I need to be called out really.

Nobody should be calling anybody out. Yes he can be a frustrating player but with 10 assists and 10 goals this season he has played his part but I think the biggest issue is that we paid over the odds for him and people expected a Haaland type of player banging in a goal or 2 a game. For me aslong as he keeps getting in the right positions and giving his all eventually I think it will all go right for him. Yes at times he can be abit of a donkey but he is our donkey.

Surely we’re not selling Salah now there is no opportunity to go out and get a replacement?

Hope not but every player has his price. If they came back with the rumoured 200M then I'd leave it down to the player it's not an ideal situation but that's football howadays with the crazy money that's being thrown about and it's only going to get worse

Lot of stream of consciousness from me since we signed Endo, but the more I think about it, the more I think its a pretty great move. I think it secures us to the point where it really opens up the possibilities of what the next midfield signing could be. Dont think we are forced into signing an absolutely specific profile now. Lotta different directions we can go.

Agreed from what I've seen of Endo all be it youtube stuff he has a great engine and is not afraid of a tackle. We need atleast 1 more midfielder before the window shuts but I would like to see us go for abit of experience infront of the defence the question is who. Ideally a DM that can drop back into the defensive line when needed and steady the ship abit because the way we set up at the moment really doesn't fill me with confidence with Trent pushing up and Konate trying to cover him leaves a huge gap in the middle so we are looking for abit of versatility. That's just my opinion
