    I wouldn't be surprised if the likes of Graham Potter was I with a shout and to be fair to the bloke wouldn't be a bad call. Let's face it his Chelsea record was shit but then it was never going to be good with a chairman playing fantasy football but his record at Brighton was bad at all and was working on a next to nothing budget. He'll if we are talking about wolves and Brentford managers might aswel, throw his name in the hat.

    I don't see us selling anybody other than those that want to leave to be honest. If the Saudis come in with a crazy offer then it's down to they player I personally wouldn't begrudge him the move. Other than the last few games we haven't had to much of an issue scoring its the defence and defensive midfield I think we need to look at, this season we have given away so many silly goals I've lost count.

    I'm going to say Alonso does a u turn. Well we can all live in hope but he wouldn't be the first or the last manager to do so.

    If we had steamed into them they wouldn't have scored yesterday we may have ended up with a draw but we would have been a point above Arsenal. Our best way to defend is attack its been proved so many times.

    I agree to a certain extent perhaps a change in management and style next season might help him. I was surprised when we signed he didn't seem our type of player in my eyes but I love him to bits because parts of his game is what we were missing. I think think Jota starts the next game without a shadow of doubt Gakpo I'm still not convinced about.

    I think it's because we are playing with no pace if we played much slower yesterday we might aswell of just sat down on the pitch. It's like the intensity has been switched off and we are trying to play like an 80s Barcelona team and walk through teams

    To be fair Salah was hardly mentioned in yesterday's game and instead of his normal smile he didn't look happy . Nunez is just a scapegoat for many people but I much prefer a striker that tries than one that doesn't I think he just needs to stop being so pumped up and bring it down abit and he might find thd net abut more but to be fair the Palace keeper did pull off some very good saves yesterday.

    Ultimately its not ours or even the clubs choice if he wants to move on at the end of the season time will tell on that front. It's never a case of fuck the money every player has a price and also its down to the new manager aswell if he wants Mo about (be crazy not to) but nobody knows. At some point we will have to take that gamble i wouldn't be surprised if we see a few unexpected players leaving this summer

    Maybe so but with 1 year left on his contract is it not better to take 100m than to lose him for free next year? Or atleast offer him a new 2 year contract and see how his camp react. We have to accept at some point he will go and every player has a price

    Whoever becomes the new manager will be an anticlimax they just won't be Klopp. His charisma passion and they way he brings everybody together can't be replaced and that's where the job will become a poison chalice. Us fans are fickle and I don't think will cut the next manager much slack because unlike the likes of Ferguson and Wenger Klopp is leaving with the club and team in good shape. Perhaps I'm just worn down with all this crap I dunno but I just can't seem to find a positive at the moment.

    Today we were sloppy at times Anthony should never been allowed to score with 3 or4 players around him and how many warnings did we need about Rashford? Top that with failing to put the game to bed when we had the chances it was just a bad day at the office i dont think they played that well to be honest. It was obvious that going into extra time was going to be our downfall after playing on Thursday night we just run out of steam in the end. I'm pretty convinced it will be a different story in a few weeks time.

    Mate of mine was out there for the Brighton game he said they were excellent other than the couple of twats with knifes. He said the biggest issues was the police if your a Roma fan a blind eye was turned but aways fans the police didn't need an excuse to shove you about.

    Yeah but from what I've seen of them this season they ain't the best. The 4-0 win over Brighton flattered them to be honest

    Couldn't have asked for a better draw form our standpoint if you ask me especially if they both get though the to the semi finals

    I just hope whoever the new manager is still gives these young lads a chance as we have so great youngsters coming through.
