  1. even though i said before i thought it would be a bad idea i warming to it i really think he can do the job.i mean lets face it fulham are not brimming with talent and look what he did with them last year try and look on the brightside of life lads
  2. whoever the new manager can we please avoid zonal marking!!!!
  3. was just thinking the same nick perhaps thats a question for the next round of e-mails
  4. total fucking quality!! i havent laughed that much in ages!!!
  5. yeah sad to say it sven is the only other manager that has thrown his hat into the ring....my main concern is the fact that roy is 62 ok i know some say age aint everything but the way i see it is perhaps a younger manager with fresh ideas and attacking football and not afraid to show some passion on the touchline.I just think Hodgsons football style is pretty much the same as rafa's was and if im honest it was them tatics that cost us 4th place last year not injurys beachballs etc. i mean 7 points we missed it by and i can think of 3 games off the top of my head that we should have won but lost of drew because we sat back and didnt play (pompey, stoke, hull) all away games if memory serves me well. whoever the manager is i will support them like i said i dont have to agree with them but i will back them anyway
  6. thats the sort of answer id expect from a narrow minded fuckwit so im suprised it came from someone who makes some good posts on this forum !! its my opinion i refuse to set standards as low as good old roy i think even in our situation we can do better whats wrong with that? If push came to shove then yeah id support him but it does not mean id have to agree with him being manager or even deserve to be liverpool manager and over the 35 years ive supported LFC its safe to say there are a few managers i have not agreed with.
  7. deserve roy? you mean he dont deserve to manage us!! jesus why do fulham fans think that after 1 good cup run and a slightly above average league finish that he is the new mourinho i dont want him near LFC full stop
  8. i was not pro rafa or anti rafa but looking at the big pictureof it he had to go. i think towards the end he had lost the players and divided the fans and his ego had become alittle big i mean come on he knew how to play the fan card didnt he? lets face it if he was here for the love of the club and fans he would have walked away without the 6 million tucked in his back pocket, he has more in his bank account to spend than the club does!! we need a manager that will use all the players to there strengths and play them where they are supposed to play and if things are not going well for a player have a heart to heart and not just bench em we need a manager that shows emotion on the touchline not just sit there writing a novel for the half time teamtalk and a manager that will not wait till the 67th min to change something if it needs changing sooner or to leave things well alone when it dosnt need changing who? i really dont know. something tells me Martin o'neil dont know what it is perhaps its the fact that most of the managers we have been linked with are nearing there late 50s to mid 60s and we need something long term and dont need to become a west ham and change our manager every year .
  9. pathetic excuse? tell me if ive read things wrong but didnt moores have it in writing that he had promises that the ground would get sorted and the debt wouldnt be againt the club. What more could you ask for dave? yes i was 1 of those fans that got sucked in yes moores had more access and we all wish he had said hang on give me a few more days to checkout this hicks fellow. yeah perhaps we wouldnt be in this shit but then again we might have i have been a liverpool fan for over 35 years and can understand the fact we all have an opinion on what has happened to the club we love so much but lets not lose sight of the fact its not just about 1 man there was a board at the time they was just as eager to sell as moores was
  10. no what i was trying to say was in hindsight he wishes he had done things better and nobody can say they aint had that in there own life yes it was his responsibilty to make sure the club went to the right and proper people but what i saying is he got sucked in by the crap he was given to a degree 90% of fans did .It may sound like im defending him but im trying to look at both sides of the fence.Yes he was wrong but if they hadnt put the debt on the club and built the new ground would we be debating this now? no we wouldnt.
  11. nope i cant because in them days everything was done the proper way behind closed doors and not aired in puplic so i would think it would be hard for anyone to comment on that unless we get into the guessing game
  12. yeah moores fucked up on a huge scale but aint hindsight a wonderful thing!! Lets face it we all wish we had delt with some things better at some point in our lifes.Give the bloke a little break here everyone has called for him to come out and give his side and he has.People are still not happy why?did it not say what you wanted to hear?? H&G have lied to Moores to us the fans and well everyone connected to them and LFC!! we have all been taken for a ride not just Moores lets not forget them sitting in that press conference telling us about the spade in the ground and the debt wouldnt be put on the club etc. But 1 question id love to see moores answer is if he had all this in writing/contract and it carrys any weight why not use it to hold them to task over there promises??
  13. 1 thing i have not seen mentioned the fact of it is it dont matter how much money Mourinho has had he still as to get the players to gel and work together with his tatics i mean come on who would have thought you would ever see eto tracking back?? yes he is a quality manager and his record speaks for itself but id have very mixed feelings if he did ever come to liverpool
  14. I agree and like i said then and i'll say it now it wasnt handled well by SOS and i have to say if any of us were treated in that manner we would act the same.i think the saying is once bitten twice shy would sum it up in a nut shell. at the end of day let the bloke do his job less distractions the sooner we can get rid of H+G (we hope)
  15. id say Broughton has enough on his plate at BA with unions
  16. positives?????where??? 1)the club being dragged through the shit in every tabloid known to man 2 300m+ of debt 3)not knowing if we will have a manager at the end of the week 4) finishing 7th 5) not knowing if we have a transfer budget to turn round this poor season 6)not knowing if our star players are even going to be at the club come August and you have the balls to use the word POSITIVE!!! i'll have whatever you are smoking!!:wallbutt:
  17. yeah i was thinking the same thing
  18. because the rumour concerns SOS and they use this forum like others so a quick yes or no to a question is not that hard really is it? As for them fending off shit all the time well you put yourself in the limelight then people will have a pop at you thats life be it SOS or any other organisation. As for the great work they do yeah some is great work but some of it has been seen as attention seeking and lacking on the professional side ie the cristian perslow minutes and the little taster on the forums for the poster campaign.Sad to say but these are the things that get noticed over the good things. As for petty minded internet pricks well while i envy your support for SOS try looking at both sides of the story before you come on this forum insulting others that use it
  19. rumour truth or total bullshit i think SOS need to comfirm or deny this happened either way or is it the case it does not suit them to comment?
  20. it was a question he was asked on day 1 when he was interviewed and seems to be asked the same question time and time again just the usual low lifes trying to make something out of nothing. but you have to respect him for being honest why he wont be at the game makes a change to have honesty coming from a chairman
  21. to be honest i am at the point where i dont care who the next manager is aslong as 1)gets the team confidence back 2)dont moan about money or the lack of it 3)dont bitch on about the future being the next 2 games!! fuck sake he has a contract for another 4 years why not just come out and say that if he really wants to stay and that juve can piss off im not anti rafa but over the last few weeks ive really lost any respect i had for the bloke.
  22. while its gutting we went out lastnight and pretty much sums up our season there are a couple of good things to take out of this Aquilani i thought he played really well and i do really think that if he had played more this season he could of added atleast 6 points to our points total Babel dare i say his workrate was well to say the aleast suprising! if he keeps that up and improves his passing then perhaps he may become a player that we all hoped he was going to be yes im down pissed off but if you look at our patched up team lastnight they did themselves proud 1 mistake from johnson who was playing out of position cost us but i wont hold that against him come extra time i think whole team had run out of steam and thats when mistakes come into play i know its no plus point but on the night we won the game!!....ive not seen anyone to this point say that
  23. the best way to look at it is if rafa is here at the first game of next season then we will know it is all bullshit!! :P
  24. its made my day for 2 reasons 1 they want to sell the whole club not just part of it 2 they have made it public they want out now that for me is a step in the right direction
