  1. Quite a bit of negativity about this lad - what am I missing? Had ACL but players do come back from it, like our own captain did. Chiesa came back to action in Nov'2022, played 21 games in Serie A - 4 goals and 6 assists in 22/23 season. Played 33 games in Serie A last season - 10 goals and 3 assists.
  2. Its never a good time to play these scum bags but this is too soon.
  3. He is 32, fit as a fiddle with at least 2 more years in a top league. We will be fucking mad to let him go. But then we are fucking mad.
  4. I am not sure why I should mention Mac, Dom & Grav when we are talking about what we need but anyway, if you include them also, along with Endo and an injury prone Curtis, we have a total of 5 midfielders (assuming Bajcetic is off) with CL football and extra games in that. None of them are perfect for a number 6, the club knows that and have known that for a long time. They have only done fuck all about it. Which is why I don't think we could see significant improvements this year with the same players.
  5. Not aiming this at Scott or anyone but I have generally reached a point of not replying to posts that says "appreciate club's position" or "Slot has to see what the players can offer" and all that bollocks. I am not dissing anyone here as it is all down to opinions but if someone cannot see the joke we have become in transfers, there is no point in even arguing with it. We finished the season before last with Fabinho & Henderson dragging themselves all over the pitch, most agreed they were done. Then came the Bellingham saga, Caicedo, Lavia and now Zubimendi. To replace ONE position that was needed for more than 2 years. Now, even Endo seems to have little role to play in the team. Then, like clockwork, comes the "he is the only player we want" bullshit, same thing we have heard in numerous situations. Put it this way - if Everton had conducted transfers like we have done, we will be laughing our collective cocks off whilst saying they are broke and about to go to admin etc.
  6. Awesome. New season, new manager but same type of screwing from Webb then.
  7. Reaction is fine but there is a time & place for it. New manager, 100% start to the season, Euro in the summer, limited break, not had a full pre-season, United next. There should be a context, especially being the vice captain. He was a twat on Sunday, there is just no two ways about it.
  8. Great report and well done for laying into Trent, I hope the cunt reads the report to understand what we think of him. Except this bit... "We should twat them but I am not predicting it" - FFS.
  9. Klopp was too far the other way because he knew he won't get fuck all from the proceeds of any sale.
  10. A classic transfer window yet again that proves FSG just want a top 4 finish. Hope Slot is as good as Klopp, otherwise we are in for a miserable period.
  11. This before we play that shower of cunts next week? Are you Dave Usher ?
  12. Most likely because spaces were opening up and he wanted to be out there. Unfortunately though players want to play every minute and not give a toss about the big picture. He might stay or leave but I am for one happy that he got taken off along with Salah. We have a small matter of playing a bunch of cunts next week.
  13. Yup. The amount and nature of tackles in that game was scandalous. The first tackle Arsenal made in that game got a yellow card.
  14. £1m up front with £40m on addons, coming right up...
  15. Yeah yeah....but we are only selling those youngsters so its ok.....apparently...
  16. No shit. I was just answering TD's question.
  17. I would welcome him if Chelsea pay £324k/week of his wage. Then play him in the reserves.
  18. Cannot remember the previous seasons but he certainly did not de-prioritise it last season. Just take a look at the starting lineups.
  19. I know all that and agree that some have to go on loan to get gametime. Its not unusual and we see that in every window. However, this window has been so abysmal that Slot might have to completely de-prioritise the league cup and promise some of the youngsters game time in that tournament with a hope of progressing as much as possible. If we don't progress much then loan them out in Jan. The team ran out of steam in March last year and we know well about the first team players who are injury prone. Its a complete negligence right now with not buying anyone but selling players who are more than capable of filling in, until we get "the players we want", the club are leading us to believe time and time again.
