Makes sense, Agger has been playing well again recently which is nice to see but Skrtl and Sami did a good job too. The problem was simple - we had no midfield. Benayoun was invisble all day and Lucas is a waste of space. Neither of them can consistently win the ball, hold and then create something. Without that it doesnt matter who you have up front. Mascher can tackle but cant create a thing. Lucas has got to go - even Plessis would have been a better option - he might have held on to it instead of either hoofing it upfield to nobody or else passing to the Stoke players which is what Lucas did.
