  1. Again, Nunez has to be replaced in January. We won’t win anything with him playing such a key role.
  2. He shouldn’t have been booked, but it might be best to get Endo off at half-time. There’s no way they’ll fail to get him sent off in the second half.
  3. I’m wholly pessimistic about today’s match, but 2018-19? We beat them 3-1 at home in Mourinho’s final game.
  4. If the score stays the same, Villa will top the table next Friday if they beat Sheffield Utd at Villa Park.
  5. It’s catastrophically stupid of him to flaunt that, as if they weren’t already going to be massively up for this game after last season’s result and their recent disappointments. Add the pressure of Arsenal going back to the top, and I see them as the more likely winners today.
  6. Brighton never, ever stood a chance of getting anything from this fixture after the way they beat them last season.
  7. United’s poor results of late are a worry, and Carragher’s absurdly ill-advised jumper gives me even more cause for concern. I fear they’ll spawn a backs against the wall win tomorrow.
  8. Yeah, same. Given how tight it is and the inevitability of City going on one of their ridiculous winning runs, anything other than a win on Sunday makes Arsenal a fixture we absolutely cannot lose if we’re to remain in title contention.
  9. I hope they equalise or even win and still go out. I’d much rather be playing them off the back of a respectable result than two defeats in a row.
  10. I wouldn’t get too excited, Luton are more likely to qualify for the Champions League this season than end up with a point today, let alone three.
  11. Hilarious as this Manc capitulation is, it’s probably going to make next weekend much harder.
  12. Goodness, we need a striker in January. Desperately. Nunez is, at best, an impact sub when we need a bit of chaos. There’s no way back today, not after last week’s lucky escape against Fulham. Hopefully City can recover from their shaky start to stop Arteta from getting his hands on a Premier League title, because they’re the only side capable of doing so this season.
  13. One point from five games, and the clock is ticking for the cod philosopher at Tottenham. Will he make it to the end of the season? I’m not sure he will.
  14. It’s going to be a very tough one with the early kick off after a midweek away, but again, the sort of game we have to win if the expectation is to be in a title race. Come through this and we can effectively take it one game a week before Arsenal and Man Utd since we only have Europa and Carabao fixtures midweek.
  15. Everton guaranteed safety for a few seasons the second they appointed Dyche and wouldn’t finish especially close to relegation with even a 20 point deduction this season, so tonight’s result is fine. Newcastle can fuck off.
  16. Villa now need to not fuck up at the weekend. Breaking an outstanding streak of 14 consecutive home wins at Villa Park would be huge for Arsenal. I want them ground to dust as quickly as possible - it would be unbearable if a risible figure like Arteta won as many PL titles as Klopp, let alone more.
  17. Going to get ruled out. Edit: Or not, thank fuck. They doubtless tried their best to do so.
  18. This is true. I’d say on the evidence of last season (and the fact they’re currently top) Arsenal have to be considered the better side, but I think we’ve probably had the harder set of fixtures so far.
  19. There’s more chance of us winning the league last season and in 1993/94 than of Luton getting anything from this.
