  1. Hopefully Spurs edging them out by 1 point, courtesy of that win gained via the VAR fiasco against us.
  2. Here’s the full article… https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/39623699/barcelona-manchester-united-top-earning-uefa-clubs-2023-kit-sales
  3. The top revenue-generating clubs in the world based on kit sales, according to an annual finance report released by UEFA (Just saw this on Facebook. So surprised to not see City there!)
  4. Squires doing a great job taking the piss out of the 'controversy'...... https://www.theguardian.com/football/picture/2024/mar/05/david-squires-on-mark-clattenburg-nottingham-forest-dropped-ball-furore#comments
  5. Barely had any injuries to key players since the start of last season.
  6. Always amazes me that opposing managers don’t target Odegaard for some, ahem, close attention. He’s the man who makes them tick, stop him, you go a long way to nullifying their threat.
  7. He’s been stood down because he gave them a goal kick instead of giving us a corner. Seriously, if Webb is going to shit his pants every time a ref is criticised for a minor error he’ll have no refs to assign. And if this is a benchmark, should Hooper and England have been stood down for life for the Diaz/Tottenham debacle?
  8. I don’t remember any of these cunts kicking up a fuss in the empty stadium era when Tierney blew for half time 20 seconds before the end of the MINIMUM added on time… with Mane chasing down a possible one on one vs de Gea. Now THAT was dodgy. There always has to be some contrived narrative or confected controversy around us, doesn’t there? Fuck everyone who isn’t us.
  9. They were in the ascendancy in the same way that the Tories are ahead in the polls.
  10. Other than that fantastic strike, Rashford has been embarrassingly bad.
  11. This. Or the 2 minute VAR check to find a reason to deny us a goal versus the cursory look when we concede one.
  12. He was better than he was in this fixture last season when he allowed them to kick us all over the pitch.
  13. His ability to keep hold of the ball and then find a man whilst being pushed and kicked (watched by whatever ref) is amazing.
  14. It’s scandalous what attacking players get penalised for on corners versus what defenders are allowed to get away with. Cunts.
  15. That’s what I expect. Bobby Clark is a massive talent but I fear this game will be way too physical for him. Prove me wrong, Bobby! Elliott will end up in midfield because he can influence the game far more from there, whereas he tends to be isolated in the Mo position.
  16. Today will be 4 for Tierney. Taylor and Kavanagh also on 4 (so, 12 out of28 games for those 3). Madley also on 4. Hooper and Oliver are on 3. Pawson, Atwell, Brookes, Robinson and Bramall all on 1. Bankes, Coote, England, Gillett, Harrington, Jones and Scott all on zero. Make of that what you will. Tierney has also been on VAR at least 3 times, including for the ridiculous Mac Allister red card.
  17. Yeah, rather be in the 6th round of the FA cup than the next round of the Youth cup, but we could have gone all the way with our strongest team. Even Doak would have been eligible for this (he’s injured anyway of course). Can you imagine that forward line - Doak, Danns & Koumas…
  18. These accounts will include the wages of Henderson, Firmino, Fabinho, Keita, Ox etc. Their replacements will be on a lot less. We’re still carrying Thiago’s costs unfortunately.
  19. In a normal world, a normal organisation would avoid this scenario if only for the sake of appearances. But Webb, and Riley before him, have the attitude of ‘we’re PGMOL, we do what we want’. There’s zero accountability.
  20. Sure, not having a pop at you, just the hint of a narrative in the media that they were weakened, when the reality is that most of their starting line up have featured in several of their recent games…. and that they’ve been shaking things up regularly because they’re on a losing streak.
  21. Totally agree about Gakpo. I like what he can bring to the party, he just doesn't do it enoughg and doesn't impose himself on games. The number of Southampton changes is a bit meaningless (if the implication is that they had a weakened team) - looking back on their last 4-5 games (most of which they lost), apart from the goalie, most of the team that started last night have also started at least a couple of their recent games. Another brilliant night after a somewhat scary start.
