Not quite...... Rafa has said time and time again, that a player must show passion and zeal for our club. He MUST really want to join LFC. Its not JUST about footballing ability/skills/technique. Malouda was a candidate. But once that smarmy prick came out with indifference (and arrogance) as to whom he'd like to play for, LFC, Chelsea or who ever else was in the running, Rafa wisely began looking at other players for the wings. Fair enough too. I don't want some money hungry Cock (French referenced pun intended) choosing LFC JUST because we are the highest bidder. I want an ambitious, passionate player who will bleed for this club. Just like everyone one of our supporters (barring the pricks in Athens) would. Kuyt is a good non-scouse example. Part of my therapy since Athens has been to scour LFC related websites for news, any news about our boys, our team and our club in the maddeningly slow months before kick off against Villa on 11 AUG 07. I should have known better. Instead my lack of football withdrawal has significantly worsened. The lack of transfer news coupled with a lack of any significant transfer activity has seen my blood pressure steadily rise. That along with Rick Parry continuing to impersonate a CEO of a major football club, is having a significant impact on my health. Jim Beam, Remy Martin and several varietals of Pinot Gris have greatly eased my pain. TLW forums have too. The General Forum may be a well kept secret but this thread is particularly enlightening to this particular OOT. In fact I’m very much a way, way, way OOT. From Adelaide to San Diego, I’m still a ways from L4 0TH. I don’t completely understand what RTK are asking for or even standing up for, but I think Ive got the general gist of it.
