  1. Agreed, never been on Facebook, never will be. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. The first game I can remember (I was 8), though I knew the players, so I must have watched us before. Great memories, FA cup final day used to be the highlight of the season! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  3. from the Suarez report: Rule E3(2) then directs us to consider, as an entry point, a sanction that is double the automatic two match suspension for insulting behaviour on account of the presence of the aggravating factor of a reference to colour. Doubling the automatic two-match suspension would result in a four-match suspension. We decided that an entry point of a four-match suspension was appropriate in this case in line with the guidance in Rule E3(2). They then go onto to list the agravating factors that turned the statutory 4 match suspension to a 8 game suspension. These were not present in the Terry case from what I can tell (the number of the times the offending word was alledgedly used, The fact that Suarez allegedly said he kicked Suarez becuase he was black, thirdly being used in an arimonious exchange, inlcuiding pinching Evra's skin, and finally because the words were used with the intent that Evraheard them). I do not agree with the Suarez verdict and how they came to the conclusions, but if you look at the above it seems clear why Terry got 4 games not 8.
  4. Code, as someone who mostly lurks on this site, I think you get a lot of unfair criticism, and people tend to reply to the poster rather than the post. However starting a thread about Rafa 2 years and thousands of posts afer he left was only going to go one way, and I don't think you help yourself at all when you do things like this. Everyone has their view on Rafa, and has probably aired it several times already, any meaningful debate about him has already been had, and no-one is going to change their position. Unless Rafa is seriously linked with Liverpool again in future, I dont really see any point in debating him any further.
  5. Just seen this after I replied, please ignore my reply.
  6. Well it's pretty clear he wants the job. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17271855
  7. 100% agreed, it wasn't pretty but we dug in and won, and that's all that matters.
  8. I'm saying we can take the high ground by taking a dignified silence, don't even acknowledge his ridiculous comments. Releasing a public statement to condemn him just brings us down to his level. Liverpool football club should be above entering into a public slanging match with the manager of Manchester utd. Unfortunately we he have already lost a lot of our dignity with our poor handling of the case, but it doesn't mean we need to plummet to further depths.
  9. I you seriously suggesting the club should issue a public statement attacking an interview by Alex Ferguson? It would be unbelievably small time, we are Liverpool FFS.
  10. And you think a statement from the club attacking Ferguson gains our self respect? I think you are very mistaken.
  11. Given everything that has happened in the past few weeks, what did we have to gain from attacking Ferguson in a statement from the club? Everyone knows what Ferguson said was nonsense, we don't need a statement from the club to prove it.
  12. 100% spot on. I have no issue with Suarez not shaking Evra's hand. If I ha gone through what he had gone through I wouldn't either. But he has made Dalglish look stupid by saying one thing and doing another, and for that reason alone he is right to apologise.
  13. I agree mate which makes it worse. It's almost as if we believed Suarez innocence was so clear we didn't really make detailed preparations. Unfortunately it turned into Suarez having to prove his innocence, rather than Evra/the FA proving guilt and we were caught badly short.
