They’ve had a shit few years so what’s better than winning the beating the red shite super bowl master world championship cup. The dvd sales will probably pay their players for another few days.

    Bastards

They'll live off this for years. Hopefully a last hurrah before they become financially fucked and go out of business.

He called the ref a cunt the other day ffs

Easy to learn swear words. My mates Dad came over from Malta years ago and worked in Kelloggs. When he was outside work everyone thought he had tourettes because everyone swore constantly in the factory and they were the only words he learnt.

  3. All that seems to be the motivation for finding a new manager so far is:

Can operate on a small budget and can develop young players. Also that Edwards will dictate all the signings.

The club needs a lift after how this season has gone. Seems underwhelming that we will just get a coach similar to Brendan Rodgers stature when he arrived rather than a manager who will excite everyone and give the club a lift like when Jurgen arrived.

All good things come to an end. Klopp just doesn’t want to be here and boy does it show, he should have gone when he made his decision, this is just excruciating now.

Yep. Looks like he's just been going through the motions like someone counting down to early retirement. Probably felt guilty that he'd be leaving us in the shit but he just hasn't been the same at all. I'd be very surprised if he took another job and just jacked it in altogether.

They can fuck off with any idea of a bus parade for the league cup as well, if you want to do a send off for Klopp do it in and around the stadium.

Be an absolute laughing stock if they did that. Also a slap in the face after tonight's performance, the Atalanta game and not beating a shit Manc team 3 times.

Everton have borrowed more money from 777 today, taking their exposure to over £200m. If 777 are unsuccessful they'll be wanting their money back sharpish, ideally before the end of the season so they can be deducted a further 9 points.  You've got to worry for them, you really do.

Worrying times at the Old Lady for the Senior club in the city.

The tickets were £23. I sincerely doubt the club have deliberately intentionally robbed 750 supporters of that just to gain an extra c.£17k.

More likely an admin thing from Atalanta.

Yep. Probably just because of the paper tickets. People will still.spin it to get likes and interactions.

  8. Seen some people on Twitter accusing the club of taking money off the away supporters at Atalanta the other night.

Atalanta issued paper tickets with £0 price printed on them maybe because the away end was a small temporary stand with a load of perspex glass round it tucked away in a far corner.

People are saying that LFC have Still charged the full amount despite the tickets saying £0 on them.

If they where only renting how did they build anything. None of it belonged to them.

It was already built before they moved there. They class building a stadium as painting a few stands that were already there. They also nicked the turnstiles when they flounced off.

When you tell them this they come back saying "another kopite who doesn't know their history" but they never say why you are wrong or explain how they built a stadium that already existed and they rented off a local businessman.

Seen a load of this doing the rounds already.

They’ve become overnight self-appointed campaigners on behalf of all of the 92 Member Clubs and are passionately defending their rights to a dream football experiences and much needed sources of income…

In the exact same way they passionately care for supporters of Leeds, Southampton and Burnley who operated well within FFP but Everton stayed up to their expense.

    Truly, The People’s Club.

Yep. Also voted against the abolition of inter club loans because they thought that they would get access to Sevilla, Genoa and Hertha Berlin players once 777 took over and could dodge ffp even more.

    Absolute hypocrites.

Piss easy route to the final in Istanbul and fluked the win from 3 nil down to an over the hill Milan team …..

Who did they struggle to beat in their cup winners cup win? Some Irish school?

University College Dublin. A bloo I work with went to this game and said their ground was just like Wavertee Sports Centre. They only beat them 1-0 on aggregate and nearly conceded an away goal at goodison in the last minute. Therefore the self titled best ever team not to win the European Cup would never have won a European trophy.

They then played the mighty Slovan Bratislava, Fortuna Sittard, Bayern Munich (fair enough) then Rapid Vienna in the final.

    bloo logic

They are absolutely thick as fuck. I don't discuss football with any of them bar one or two objective ones.

Their bias and hatred of us clouds their judgement and they just try to get a reaction out of you with stupid statements but if you say anything they deem incorrect about them they go off on one.

I like the stupidity of them.saying we only played Spurs in the final when we had a hard group consisting of Napoli and PSG as well as beating Bayern and Barcelona.

Spurs also beat Dortmund, Man City and came out of a group with Barca and Inter. They beat a good Ajax team in the semi but Evertonians with their little knowledge of how European football works thinks they were just chosen by Klopp, the Kopite media and Kenny Dalglish to play Liverpool in the final.

  13. When it matters, we win

    3-2 vs Wimbledon
    3-2 vs Palace
    1-0 vs Bournemouth

Why were they actually in these positions needing to win these games?. Because they were shit and bottle it at home on a regular basis getting twatted 5-2 by the likes of Watford or getting beaten at home by Luton who had just come up?.

You don't have to be braindead to be brain dead. But they are brain dead

  14. They have won about 3 derbies since 2000 and go out of most cup competitions early. When they actually do qualify for Europe they either bottle the qualifiers, go out in the group stage or bottle a quarter final on pens.

They've  never won the Premier League, European Cup, UEFA/Europa or the League Cup. Even their record against most of the top teams is horrendous.

They only won in 1993 thanks to Hans segers fondness for brown envelopes.

Think it was away at Coventry.

The shocking home loss was a different season, no?

Yes, the season after that first Newcastle game. I also forgot about the Man Utd game where he missed two crosses to let Andy Cole score.

On the 24th of April Live on Sky Sports, Arsenal faced Liverpool at Highbury. I was there to witness a superb performance by Stan Collymore and Robbie Fowler, who ran Tony Adams and the Arsenal defence ragged, to give Liverpool a 2-1 victory. The game was remembered for Robbie Fowler’s penalty that never was, awarded by the referee, despite Fowler’s protests. David Seaman saved his penalty but Jason McAteer scored the rebound.

The following week Liverpool faced bottom placed Coventry City at Anfield. A victory would send Roy Evans men back to the top of the table after Derby County’s shock win at Old Trafford the day before. I was there to witness a brilliant performance by former goalkeeper Steve Ogrisovic as he denied Liverpool time and again. However they still lead 1-0 but two late howlers by David James had yet again cost Liverpool, who suffered a shock 2-1 defeat.

The Title Decider would come on Saturday 19th April at 11.15 am, the ridiculous kick off time chosen by Sky Sports. If Liverpool beat Manchester United at Anfield they would top the Premier League table with just three games left. Could Liverpool gain revenge for their FA Cup Final defeat? David James dubbed ‘Calamity James’ after the game by the press was at fault for all three Manchester United goals. His awful miss of Neville’s cross allowed Andy Cole’s header seal a 3-1 defeat, that was celebrated by jubilant United fans.

Roy Evans decision not drop James after that game emphasised his weak management. With no challenge to push him or keep him on his toes, James would continue to be a liability in a Liverpool shirt. At Selhurst Park in May, I witnessed Michael Owen’s debut and first Liverpool goal, but it was not enough to prevent a 2-1 defeat to Wimbledon. In a cruel twist, Liverpool went into the final game away to Sheffield Wednesday with a two point lead, knowing that the Premier League runners up would qualify for the lucrative Champions League. They could only draw 1-1 against ten men, with a striker in goal for their injured goalkeeper. Liverpool would finish the 1996/97 in fourth place in a two horse Title race, as Dalglish’s Newcastle finished second and Arsenal third on goal difference
