Mine divorced when I was 4, but it was relatively amicable. My mum remarried when I was 7 but my dad never did due to being quite selfish and a womanizer. My girlfriends parents are also divorced and refuse to be in the same room as each other. When we see them, they can't help have little digs at the other person which I think is quite sad given that they have been divorced/separated for over 15 years. Off all of my close friends, all of their parents are still married, happily or not! Personally, I don't see the point in marriage now. My girlfriend and I have been living together for 4 years now and are legally classified as common law husband and wife. What difference does a bit of paper make?? My mates only want me to get married as they want another stag weekend.

Missed Cancun by about 170 miles, so they would've just got tropical winds and heavy rain, so got off lightly. However, being in the Caribbean when Hurrican Ivan hit, even that wouldn't have been a nice experience.
