    The club have set down the criteria at the start of the season. There's no chance of changing it now....now where's old coco and his "bonus ballots" when you need him??

    Its a possibility that you could have a season ticket holder who's been to exeter, brighton, stoke and chelsea away, will also go to the city away leg but then won't get a ticket for the game at anfield. I'm not sure that will sit well with a few people.

    The ticket details dont make any sense to me either. After those who elected for the auto ticket scheme, they go to "members" then to season ticket holders on a first come first served basis. History tells me ticket allocation won't be straightforward.

    Correct. Ben Smith already back tracking now saying Lucas could be exaggerating his injury. Should never have allowed him to come back on though which has now clearly exacerbated the injury.

    Looked like a medial ligament injury to me. Could be looking at 6-8 weeks I reckon. Scan later today will confirm exact prognosis.

    As has been mentioned it is somewhat disproportionate to have a third enforced period of mourning imposed on the club. Needless to say there are other tragedies and people who have sadly passed on and been much greater linked to the club where the response has not been acknowledged to the extent Gary Speed's has.

    We need to get support up to Suarez especially with their bank of 3 in front of the back 4. That could mean a recall for Carroll. Would be surprised to see the same side as last weekend. Horses for courses and all that.

    Most arrogant set of supporters in the country. "We'll buy your club and burn it down" and "We're gonna buy [insert opposition teams best player]" just typical of their attitude. I was told by a citeh fan recently that Liverpool are a spent force. Putting the obvious hatred to one side, there is a mutual respect between us and the other manc shower for whats been achieved by both clubs over long periods, as supporters we both know what it takes to get to the top. With city success has been given on a silver platter hence their complete lack of respect towards what was achieved in the past and more importanly, what it took by great men to get there.

    Spurs have the best set of fixtures there again. Every weekend I see the fixtures and expect them to win. Sign of a good side?

    just seen the post match interviews, charlie adam is a great orator. speaks really well and dedicating the win to Luca was a nice touch. The scots always make great public speakers.

    Thinking back to when we scored good intricate passing goals, especially towards the end of last season in Kenny's honeymoon period, Maxi was always at the heart of the good moves. He gets in the box which is what you want from your midfielders.

    I went to the fa cup replay at goodison when gosling scored in the last mintue of extra time in 09'. Torres started and I remember walking out of goodison thinking that he just didnt give a fuck. In all my time wathcing football I couldnt think of a more lazy, couldnt give a shit performance in all my years watching a match. Glad to see the back of a huge waste of talent due to no fault but his own.

    Top bloke and a top player in his day. Has nothing but good things to say about liverpool but you will always think, not just with Dom, but a lot of his generation of scouse talent that came through in that period that they could and should have done a lot more with their careers. Leeds fans still sing his name to this day in hommage to his san siro goal. Shame he's thought of a lot higher by them than us but there you go. He wasnt "shite" at all by the way. One of the few defenders who was actually very good in possession.

    Spot on. Admittedly I was over zealous in trying to redress the balance on here and lower expectations by stating 6th would be a good season. As you say Zig, that would reflect the reality and NOT the idea of a good season in any supporters heart of hearts. Kenny is not above criticism. I'm not blind to that and everybody is always accountable. Its just annoying to seem him (i) expected to be treated in the same way as Hodgson and (ii) judged against others who've been stronger than us long before his return or well on the way to being so due to time and money being invested during a period in which this club didnt even tread water but actually went backwards. But Kenny is a good manager and is certainly capable of producing something special. If he can get us into the top 4 with this squad then it would be an over achievement. People would do well to realise the magnitude of that task.

    I live in the real world though and you might have noticed that the footballing landscape has changed a little bit in recent years. You mention the £125 million like its the magic ingredient for winning a title or something. Fuck off with your rhetoric that we have the god given right to win the league or even be in the top 4 and wake the fuck up to the reality of what challenges face us and Kenny going forwards. There are 4 top quality sides in front of us we need to usurp and you quote £125 million gross spends as the answer? I expect us to be better, which we are. I dont expect us to be reaching the completely unrealistic goals you seem to have set in your own deluded mind.

    I think thats probably nail on the head. Maybe the honeymoon period raised expectations for some higher than the reality. But then again, the home truth was when spurs won 2 nil at anfield and Modric and Van der Vart controlled the game with ease. It was no surprise to see Modric do the same again earlier this season. We have always dropped stupid points at home, its not something new. Its just made worse by the fact there are 4 other teams who are better than us and punish that slip up every week. If we finish 5th or 6th I think thats a good season. Unfortunately I think its going to take the decline of one of those 4 sides (5 if you include arsenal who already look to be on their way) before we see ourselves into the champions league again. Kenny is playing catch up and unfortunately the club isnt even in the race, through no fault of his own.

    But do you honestly think we are worse than last season? We have already taken 9 points from away games we got got no points from last year. Home form is the problem but if you watched all of our games this year then you will know there has only been one which we deserved to lose - Spurs away. Not a disgrace by any strecth and certainly not justification for the shite Kenny is being levelled on here!! Spurs are a better side. Redknapp has built that side over the course of 4 years. Give Kenny and Clarke the same time to build on the good start they've made and we will be better than them. Ok it hasnt been fantastic but it hasnt been shite either. Its been good and this time last year we'd have taken that in a heartbeat.

    I've left it a day before even logging into this place and this was the first thread I had the misfortune of stumbling across. Anybody calling for Kenny to be sacked this early into the season is a fickle cunt. What did you expect us to do this year? Win the league? As for those asking why this run of form should be accepted under Kenny if it wouldnt have been under say Roy Hogson, whats the point you make? Obviously it isnt great but to call for Kenny's head, show some fucking respect I believe he's earned it.

    Whenver you answer the phone just introduce yourself using his name. Then when the other person asks you to do something just casually say "Sorry cant do that I'm afraid". When the person on the other end asks why, in your best serious voice just say something like "Its my nap time again". That should make his trial period pass a little quicker.
