I am not sure if many people saw it by Nasser really laid into Giles He also kept mentioned foreign coaches without naming names He and nick knight also laid into bumble and the cricket fraternity - bumble was grumbling about SL bent arm spinners - he has to accept cricket has moved on and to be number one England must move with the times eg develop unorthodox cricketers

Delighted by the win against NZ - they completely bottled it England could do worse than either SL old coach - Ford or our current coach Farbrace NZ look a good team though

If Giles gets the job, the ECB should go into liquidation What are peoples views on Peter Moores? Giles has loads of mates in the media (Newman at the Mail , Agnew) so he doesnt get slated England need to look at Moody at least

Just got back from the races If only I has read the thread before today.... Lost heavily but good day After Valtour won with RW I think the crowd and me lost our nerve and piled into Hurracaine Flyer and the collective groan over the last when it came in 4th Great day, good fun. Would recommend to anyone (I don't bet or understand racing) Would appreciate any decent tips to get some of the money back! Irish lads all good fun

Been distracted by the Asia Cup - just looked at the Aussies vs SA score - wow that is going to be a crushing defeat for SA Where is Siddle - injured? Didn't realise MJ is 32 - probably only got 1 - 2 years at this level before he deteriorates. I reckon he will get to 400 wickets if he gets the chance though - needs to play a few of the Asian teams in Australia to do that Just to say - Afghanistan are actually a decent team, and certainly bowl better than Ireland and Bangladesh. I would laugh if England came up against them in the Sub-continent Never rated Smith - completely overshadowed by Kallis and now AB/Amla - Good player but not a great

Dan Lydiate isn't playing at the top level pre injury which is a worry but Jamie Roberts actually looks fit so that is good Ian Evans is severely underrated player and is being missed by us I really don't get Scotland's poor performance Good on paper poor in practice
