I'm an OOT i'm from cork city in ireland. I was at the man city match 2 weeks ago andi felt exactly like that when a few songs got going i started singing with a few people around me and the 2 fellas in front of me turned around and looked at me as if i had 10 heads or something. It costs enough to go to a match especially if you are an OOT and then you go and sit on your arse and say nothing for 90 minutes. Now i'm not saying i know every single liverpool song ever but i make the effort to know the most popular ones like YNWA scouser tommy the players songs and all the others. What pissed me off as well was the amount of people in my section getting up during the match to go to the toilet or get a pie or tea/coffee. I know it was cold that day but get your tea/coffee before the match or at half time. When YNWA alone was plaed before kick off it seemed like a massive thing for people to get off their arses and sing it. Also the amount of people who didn't actually sing it but were texting or just standing there yawning or something. I also met these other irish lads from dublin and the 4 of them had the irish flag around them and had there red and white jester hats on. Now i know why some liverpool fans dislike OOT's and daytrippers because i was actually embarrased to be seen with them. But don't forget that there are genuine fans like myself in irelandwho do make an effort to get there and know what a privilege it is to support a terrific club that is Liverpool F.C.
