Keep reading how he is the quintessential sportsman & how his legacy is ruined by nasty modern sportsmen, but nobody is mentioning how he basically ruined any chance of Bugner being popular in this country by his peevishness after being beaten by him which he carried on for many years. Wouldn't speak to the ref either until recently I believe.

Mason's performance the last time we were at Fulham was possibly the worst I have ever seen from a Premiership referee & could have been eclipsed by Ellen Keller.

I think we are lightweight in the centre of midfield & need a proper defensive midfielder, as we can find teams streaming through us at the central defenders. I would be happier with the above list if it had M'Vila rather than Aquilani in it & I would assume the £10m /£12m from Benito's mate would cover most of the cost.

I think teams will be in for Cole & at his age I can't see him sitting around doing nothing even on fantastic wages, particularly as he is away from his normal London habitat & has a new baby. Jovavovic has shown no sign of being a mercenary to be fair & has said he will go if he is not in Kenny's plans. The aggro around Konchesky ensures he will be offloaded ( Or loaned out ) These guys moving on loosens up @ a million pounds per month, which will be handy in the pot.

All seems a bit strange, as I'm sure it was said originally that QPR had fessed up to most of the charges to reduce the punishment, so not sure how they are only guilty of 2 charges. Not sure we've heard the last of this.

Holloway is getting more annoying by the week. I can only assume he is on the whacky-baccy as he seems to be paranoid about any comment about him & his players & wants to have every argument in public. Shearer makes a valid point. He wasn't saying that Adam has got worse as a player, but that sometimes the attitude of the clubs that want you are dictated by their circumstances at that time & this can change over the intervening period before the next transfer window. I am happy with our offensive central midfielders ( Gerrard, Meireles, Lucas, Speo ) & think we just need an excellent defensive midfielder ( M'Vila if possible ) so I would pass on Adam personally.

Edging towards deliberate but enough doubt to not be totally sure. Wouldn't put it past the average neanderthal footballer to think it was hilarious to knock a female linesman over.

I can't believe with this thread title that somebody hasn't put a picture of some munters from Aintree races on here. For my sins I used to go to Southport with my boss who had a season ticket at Haig Avenue. It got quite embarrassing as my boss was very loud & unspoken & was unfortunately seated about 4 away from the chairman Charlie Clapham & spent most of the games berating him about a perceived lack of investment at the top of his voice.

I agree with the general thrust of Piscinin & Jonny83. It's generally agreed that our biggest problem recently has been lack of squad depth, yet some fans just seem to want to sell everyone who isn't in our best 5 or 6 players. The obvious recent example being the ' Get rid of Kuyt for whatever we can' in January. If Kenny is happy to sell Aquilani & has a better use for the money then great, but if he feels that he doesn't want to sell him or that nobody is offering enough money, then I would be happy to keep a talented Italian international who could be very useful in a season where we are looking to challenge on 4 or 5 fronts.

Can't stand it when people can't get simple things right SF. I have salt but not vinegar on chips, and say this to every chip-shop server who asks me but get both anyway in 80% of cases. The other 20% put twice as much salt as normal for no apparent reason.

Mark Palios has been on SSN today & reflects the excellent earlier article bringing up the Swindon Town judgment. He said that all 3 groups of charges can bring in a points deduction in their own right, so if they get found guilty I can't see they can avoid a deduction. Normally I would feel a bit sorry for QPR but as the club has a melange of wankers managing & on the board, bugger 'em. Also, to be fair to the FA, it was the Premier League that made the original Tevez decision & the FA was only dragged into the later appeals process.

I'm with you Remmie. I've never heard him say anything particularly offensive against anybody & he can't be blamed for errors committed by his management team.

Find they can fall 2 ways There are ones where the actor comes across as interesting & make for excellent viewing , and there are ones where the object of the piece comes across as so full of themselves & pseudy about their 'craft' that you want to kick your tv screen in.
