    Works both ways though JB. When lads of that age are not deemed good enough, the club just gets rid fairly ruthlessly with barely a backward glance, so you can't expect one we desperately want to keep & an England full international at 17 to sign a long-term contract for buttons & a pat on the head.

    Shouldn't be a problem. Pretty basic set up, with the bar on one side of the venue & you go down a couple of steps to the main 'arena' . Been there a few times & it is pretty civilised ( Stranglers, Athlete & Glenn Tillbrook ) and never seen any hint of trouble.

    Spot on that bit, SB. I was thinking that he had done 12 hard rounds with Peterson & should be confident of beating him again ( I think he won the first fight ). Not sure what Garcia would have to gain fighting Amir again at this point, hence my suggestion that Peterson would be the best ( probably available ) option.

    As long as he is playing very well, contributing scores & helping us win matches & series, how he eventually gets out is not a major worry to me. Could it also be that teams try left-arm spinners as a first call at Pietersen due to his (perceived) vulnerability which skews the figures for his types of dismissal. Looking on the bright side, while the Saffer bastard is in India ruining team spirit & our chances of a first series win in ages, good old Brit, Broady has plenty of time to work on the fake twitter site.

    Pleased to see Amir win but not really answered any real questions, give him a bit of confidence & got him back on the bike, I suppose. The one thing with Khan is that he is very rarely in a bad fight due to his skill on the positive side & his fragility on the flip side. Don't really see moving up to fight Brook & the other guys at that weight is a clever option. I would look for a Peterson re-match personally.
