It wouldn't exactly be "a la what happened to the red shite", when NESV took over a team in the top third of the league, with a perfectly serviceable stadium, a global fanbase and "just" a few hundred million in debt.

mad we spent 60m on a “proposed” stadium and didn’t even get a spade in the ground to show for it.

  2. Ok for a random reason for me it’s Cagliari for the bastard reason that my football manager Inter team were on for an invincible treble (serie A, coppa Italia and Europa league) with a handful of games to go.

I battered them, VAR ruled out 3 goals, we hit the woodwork multiple times and their keeper had a man of the match performance. They scraped a 1-0 win. Morale dropped we drew a couple of games and lost to inter in the coppa Italiana final. Won the rest but I was about to be unbeaten for the first time. Twats.

Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham annoy me as why have we got 3 random Welsh clubs in the English football league? Either let them all in or fuck off and play TNS and unpronounceable consonant only town fc.

For a set of fans that hate the Premier League and say it is corrupt as well as saying they don't care what the redshite say, they seem to watch all our games and endlessly debate refereeing decisions that go for us. Weirdly they don't seem to be that concerned when we are on the wrong end of a bad decision.

I think if we are still in with a chance of winning the league in April a lot of them will start panicking and refuse to accept that the league has been played fairly or that it wasn't fixed. They'll come out with all kinds of bizarre conspiracy theories and call it another asterisk title if we win but wont say as much if City win it and overtake their 9 league titles.

Meanwhile if they lose to Palace on Friday night that will be 29 years without a trophy.

if only they have a complete implosion and end up relegated too

Nothing, it's just part of how True Bellend has to keep his relevancy now, yah know after he fucked his career by calling all muslims suicide bombers and texting birds asking for them to peg him/shit on his chest amongst other things.

if you think that is deviant behaviour I’d avoid the general forum.

  5. How honest do we want to be here? The answer is complicated as my view is clouded on the below.

On the whole I am really lucky -  I was recently told by someone I’ve known since I was a kid that I’m the happiest person they know. I’ve achieved more than I ever expected, I have traveled the world, get on with my siblings and parents, have a good job that I can manage easily, am financially doing alright and most importantly I have a wonderful partner and became father this year and that kid adores me. He lights up when he sees me as I do with him. I spend as much time as I can with them them both and they genuinely make me happy.

however since becoming a father my own mortality has really come into focus.

we left it late by choice and I worry I left it too late. The pressure of having someone so reliant on you feels immense sometimes and you never know if you are good enough.

my parents have health issues and I worry that the easy life I have had so far will run out soon and i worry that the storm is coming.

I worry that I haven’t made a positive impact on anyone / the world. I wonder if I genuinely have any real friends and if they would reach out if I didn’t. I worry if anyone knows me at all or if my own family would miss me.  So maybe i am the cunt others think I am.

I feel I fail to make any real connections and that I’m annoying. if not for my partner and especially my kid I’m not sure if I would be here.

    I'm a massive hypocrite i claim

fo be a lefty and i help run a charity outside of work but its essentially it’s now a second unpaid job now and im not sure how much joy it brings me. I also earn my money in industries you could consider as immoral.

i flip between the two views of myself amd

It clouds how i see life I’m either the luckiest man alive or not. I don’t know if this is normal but it affects my view on life. I seem to be the overly positive one to outsiders but I’m full of doubt and tired of the meaningless of it all.

    TL/DR: who knows.

If we don't invest this window and push on to some silverware ill never forgive our owners. This is here for the taking. My fear is we will run out of legs and or bodies.

How many times have we said that about FSG?

I’ll be highly surprised if we bought anyone.

It's hard not to warm to the fella these days. In the interview after the match Moyes seemed completely unaware of that stat. He was convinced he'd won one with a Pienaar goal, only to be told that was a 2-2 draw.

Peak Moyes, in his mind that was a win.

well there was a mural to that effect.

Maybe a win for them today wouldn't be a terrible thing. It would keep the current clown car from running out of fuel.

After the way they celebrated getting a point against us I hope they lose every game from here on in. Let them spend tens of millions to sack ETH and bring in a replacement who will demand hundreds of millions to get rid of players and bring in his own men.

Before euro 1996 there was a view Robbie was the better option. Venables stuck with shearer and the roads diverged thereafter. No contest now but it might have been different.

I don’t see why they couldn’t have played together. Appreciate both wanted to be the focal point but they had some characteristics that potentially would have worked well. I was a bit younger then so maybe I’m wrong but did they at least try?

Imagine him, in his prime, in this squad or the 18/19 & 19/20 under Klopp and in place of Nunez.

I reckon he'd have surpassed Salah and Haaland's records.

He’d have benefited by being born 15 years later but as he was and the personality he had I don’t think there were many managers that would have steered him correctly. Ferguson would have got it out of him even dalglish but instead he had uncle Roy who let him get away with far too much.

edit: I’m in no way absolving him he absolutely should look at himself when assessing why he didn’t achieve the heights he should have. He still had a great career and goalscoring record for us.

  10. I don’t like uefa. But this seems proper shit too and on top, One more thing I’ll be pissed off about is that they won’t have the champions league trophy - it’s iconic.

Instead they will have some shite trophy that’s looks like it’s been designed by a 13 year old hopped up on strawberry vapes and prime energy drink
