Well he had bitten someone in the Dutch league and was prob seen as a potential liability. Also plenty of clubs have been bitten by the “great in the Dutch league” so there was prob some hesitancy if he could make the step up.

I think a British cup would have made sense in the 80s and 90s but now the Scottish teams are so far behind it’s not competitive. I kind of agree on the regional leagues from league 2? I’d also look to cut the number of teams in the premiership and championship as there are way too many games but that would cause massive uproar now.
