We've got fowler in the rushie mould, Crouch for Toshack and Bellamy in the second striker role. getting wide to take defences on, coming deep to get the ball and creating space in behind for Gerrard, Garcia, Gonzalez to run into, comfortable on the ball. If he can pass it he'll be brilliant. Garcia is nothing like Dalglish. More like David Fairclough, with his knack for scoring important goals.

I've been watching old Liverpool re-runs on channel 442 ESPN classic. what a player kevin Keegan was for us! I grew up watching Dalglish and he is my all time favourite Liverpool player but keegan was special too. he didn't just score goals he created them as well. Like Dalglish, he was brave, quick, hard-working and intelligent. Bellamy can be that type of player for us. we haven't had anyone like this since Peter Beardsley.

I think everyone would agree that the man is a true great. Many of the goals he scored were goals of the season, he made many more for his team mates. I know we've been linked with him before. he's a right midfielder, he'd be considerably cheaper than pennant, he has lots of experience internationally and in the Champions League. I'm not opposed to us signing Pennant or Alves but i think that what we really need is another striker and Gerrard can play both central and right midfield as and when required. sign Victor and lump the rest on Kuyt
