  1. His form has definitely dropped off again since almost fully recovering post-injury.
  2. Just finished listening, and I agree with Dave: our biggest problem was we were fucking shit.
  3. Presume we're only trying to re-sign him so we can get a fee? Baffling otherwise, the lad's a sicknote.
  4. Straight up one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a fight.
  5. True, Inter were fairly chaotic in those days. Recoba was notoriously lazy, though! And yes they're both good shouts. See also the two Ronalds.
  6. Yeah Recoba's a good shout. Incredible amount of ability, but one of the worst trainers of all time.
  7. Still hopeful he can get back to pre-injury form. Genuinely looked like he was on the verge of becoming world class that season.
  8. Well that's just it, isn't it? The press knew at the time, but instead the public were hammered with warnings that it was the other guy who was compromised by Russia. It's like the stuff with this Pincher creep. Literally everyone who mattered, or had a platform, knew about it but said nothing, because in 2019 there were far more pressing priorities. Politics in this country is a hoax.
  9. Incredible the press are making an issue out of the Lebedev stuff when they all knew about in 2019.
  10. Dribbling, tackling, and fitness are the areas where there's most separation, imo, but still not much in it overall. Probably give it to Alonso. I'll never forget being at the Reebok for Alonso's debut. Just watching him warm up you could tell he was class.
  11. Apparently he can appoint members of the public to ministerial roles, which I've gotta be honest I kinda wanna see.
  12. Hope we get to the point where we have to activate the Queen.
  13. I hope they start tossing allegations around again like they did a few weeks ago.
  14. On the one hand this is yet another sign that British politics is just totally and utterly fucked, but on the other it's objectively one of the funniest things to happen all year.
  15. Yeah 'spose. I'd not counted Diaz as an incoming but he is, really.
  16. Aren't we down a forward, now? Two, if you don't count Carvalho coming the other way.
  17. Wouldn't count on it. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/jun/21/labour-frontbenchers-likely-to-be-disciplined-for-joining-rail-pickets
  18. Yeah it's proper by the numbers stuff, but enjoyable none the less. Thought the NBA lads were all really good, too - so much so, in fact, that I'd never have known they were NBA lads if I hadn't watched the credits afterwards.
  19. Bernie, too. He was one of the most popular politicians in the country and unequivocal in his support for union action. Motherfucker was turning up at strikes all the time.
  20. A useful lesson, that will be studiously ignored.
  21. I've quite enjoyed Mick Lynch's media appearances, taking absolutely no shit at all from the hacks.
  22. Irrefutable at this point. It's one of the cornerstones of British politics.
  23. Heard the Bisping film was worth a watch. Might try get hold of a copy this weekend.
