IMHO this was a always going to be a more difficult match than the last one at Emirates. Yet we controlled Stoke better and created far more goal scoring opportunities today.
So far we have been the superior team in both our away matches. What more can you ask for? Ok, we lost today. It sucks and it's fucking annoying, but it happens sometimes. This team and club is growing a new mentality that hopefully will win games like today's, but we need to be patient. Kenny needs time, regardless of the countless millions. We are on the right track. With a younger squad that has far better understanding and basic skills for modern football.
As for Carroll, I really do not see how he fits into the starting XI. It's sad, mostly for him, but he looks nothing more than a possible game changing sub, to be honest. I certainly hope I'm wrong.
