  1. Send Dave U a PM, he'll want to know. He tries very hard to keep those off this forum, but because he doesn't put up each individual ad, they on a rare occasion pop up here. So when it happens, he needs to be told so he can register a complaint with the company who controls the ads.
  2. Try every inning, and they will bring the beer to you. It's the best part of US sports.
  3. Paulie, if you're watching on Time Warner Cable, it will be on Channel 53. If you're watching AT&T Uverse, it will be channel 606. If you're watching Grande Cable, it will be channel 30. Or you can join me and most of the Liverpool Supporters in Austin at This Place at 5:15. First round's on me.
  4. Well that good to know, my main worry was that it was Fox.
  5. I just wish that HBO would have done this instead. If this were done by the same group that does Real Sports with Bryant Gumble, it would have been guarenteed to be amazing, not sure how it's going to turn out with Fox. What it will likely do is bring us the American fans who would have supported the clubs who are presently more sucessful than us. It will give people here an opportunity to feel like they're connected to the club in a significant way. Hopefully the club take advantage of the excellent opportunity this provides us to educate the casual fan about the truth of some things. Primarily Hillsborough. If the club don't make sure there is an episode solely dedicated to explaining the truth of Hillsborough instead of the lies spread by people like Murdoch and Steven Coen, then I'll be hugely disappointed.
  6. Baltimore, Maryland and Boston, Massechusetts. I'll be at the match in Boston.
  7. No, they didn't show him throwing anything, but you'll know how it is, only a limited view on the TV.
  8. had to go back and look at the first half, but I can confirm he had one on the entire match.
  9. There used to be a guy on here by the user name somuch4gravity it's been a while since I saw him last, but he was in NY last time I asked. Seems a good laid back red. Didn't have time to hit anybody up for a pint, but I was up there 2-3 weeks ago.
  10. Only ever been to Toulouse. Awesome city with fantastic, and really friendly people. They also have an extreme dislike of Parisians.
  11. This is right, Parks and Rec really hit it's stride midway through season 2 and has gone from high point to high point since. Great show.
  12. Much of the show was filmed a few miles from where I live. I liked the movie more, and liked the movie soundtrack even more than the movie. Explosions in the Sky are fantastic. High school football here is like a religion, more so in the smaller towns though. It is shoved in your face non stop when you grow up here.
  13. Azura's shrine is epically huge. I love how massive bethesda makes everything in these games, you can't help being comletely overwhelmed by the scope of the world. Bethesda makes their gaming worlds the way I like them...Epic.
  14. It might have been if not for the distinct lack of "possibilities, no?" in his statment.
  15. I think he should play more, but he isn't playing at all, so Maxi should go to clear some space on the wage bill.
  16. I play XBOX Live and I'm terrible if that's any help.
  17. Midfield was mediocre today, no pressure, so little creativity. None of the substitutions made any sense, or did anything to improve us. It was a pretty shit game.
  18. Bad game from him today, gave the ball away on some simple passes. But as some others have said, he's usually great in these big games, and he's been playing well recently, so he can be forgiven for this one. On a possitive note, I thought Henderson played well when he came on, and that's the first time I've seen him have a good outing since he came here. Hopefully today will help him kick on now.
  19. I imagine that you don't watch much ESPN then, because he has garnered weekly coverage on that channel since he was 17. Hell, they showed weekly highlights of his highschool basketball games. I don't watch professional basketball, but I've known who he is for the better part of 10 years. I can't stand the guy, he's an obnoxious ego driven blert, but there is not a day that goes by that I don't see him on TV. Whether it be on one of his many commercials or ESPN, he is one of the most exposed athletes in the US. The thing is, the kind of people that like Lebron James are the kind of people who will buy whatever he sells.
