    Update on this for those wondering, he's felt pretty crap and still coughing up a lot of gunk off his lungs, but this morning he got a negative lateral flow which I'm made up about!! Transpires he didn't qualify for the antivirals either, which surprised all of us! Such an odd virus, affects the lungs but folks with respiratory conditions don't seem to be too badly affected?? Bizarre.

    The old man has just returned a positive test, late 60's with quite severe COPD and asthma so a bit worrying. He's triple jabbed though and will likely get those newly approved antivirals because of his chest, so fingers crossed.

    Played a gig in town tonight to about 200 people, biggest crowd I've been in the same room with for pretty much two years, and to be honest it was really unnerving. Going to take me a while to get used to busy places again for sure Noone wearing masks except for me (apart from when I was on stage, fucking sweatbox - couldn't have done it). Pretty sure I'm going to get covid like. Nice knowing you all.

    Can you guys not start a covid conspiracy debate/argument thread and keep all this super shitty boring as fuck back and forth on there so I know never to subject myself to it? Everyone has their own views, right or wrong, and noone is going to convince the other party to change their views, rightly or wrongly, so we're stuck in this fucking endless loop of name calling, which is doing my swede in and ain't a great look for the GF.

    If it was a car bomb then yes there would have been loads of damage to the surrounding cars, buildings etc. May have been a bomb not designed to explode in a car, it might have been much more 'effective' in a crowd of people.

    Debatable whether they're delicious or not but you've got to love the convenience of a fast food vending machine on the street in the Netherlands. Especially for times you've drank or smoked so much you can't speak.

    Was a good few years back now so the memory is a little hazy but I seem to remember I had mine early afternoon and didn't need to eat anything until lunchtime the next day. Food of the gods. The sauce tasted a little bit like bean juice to me which I thought was a bit odd.

    Seems I'm a sucker for food that puts hair on your chest; Hungarian Langos - a sort of deep fried pizza? Mostly use goat or sheep cheese if I recall. Portuguese (specifically Porto I think) Francesinha, when I ordered it a local said I'd be shitting like crazy for a few days afterwards and he wasn't wrong. Bloody nice though.
