It took about eight months of sticking with the tried and tested (bar a couple of exceptions) before he dabbled with Trent's role.
You'd hope next time we are stuck in a rut, it won't take so long for him to twist.
Took far too long to stick with Nat Phillips in the covid season too, and keep Fabinho in midfield.

I thought Canvelo was at Bayern.

We're going to win the UEFA Cup next season

Jesus fucking christ, what is it with certain posters on this forum who want to minutely disect and in their opinion correct almost every statement others make then go 'If you simply want to win the argument, be my guest. I dont give a toss'?
Im not interested in arguing with you or anyone else. If you disagree, fine.
Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I offer you Exhibit A of Jung's famous shadow theory: projection.

Kind of proves my point, they didnt lose 9 games before November.
Your point was that in the one season where City are or seem inconsistent, we're not taking advantage.
My point is there was another season and we did take advantage.
If you simply want to win the arguement, be my guest. I couldn't give a toss.

If we’d have beaten Leeds & Forest, I’d still fancy us to catch Arsenal.
The break has come at the wrong time for Arsenal. They’d want to carry on their momentum. They have some tough games after the break, they play Newcastle, Man Utd & Spurs in Jan and they’ve still to play City twice. I still think City will catch them.
Me too. Those 2 results were the worst I've experienced under Klopp.

I think most of those losses came after Guardiola publically conceeded and decided to go all in for the CL while we were home and hosed.
Mate, we were miles ahead of them by November.

I think Jurgen and his team made a call that we could manage with what we had and wait for the right player. They were obviously taking a calculated risk with the injury records of some of the midfielders but I don’t think they anticipated that the form of Fab and Hendo would plummet as well.
If Fabinho plays as he should do, we wouldn't be talking about a midfield problem.

He was. He is not at the level of a few months ago, when he nearly took us to a unique quadruple. But he'll get there once the midfield is sorted.Fixed

Said this to my mates. The one season city turn in inconsistent results is the one season we cant string a run of results together.
Apart from when we won the league, you mean?

I've stepped in here half way through a conversation that I simply can't be arsed to read so forgive me if I've got the wrong end of the stick but I imagine they would go for the same reasons that tens of thousands of others are going, to watch football and support their nation (yuk!).
In a place that doesn't welcome them?
If they're happy to do that, happy days. I wouldn't.

I don’t think that’s fair Moe, I didn’t like it then and I don’t like it now. I don’t think it’s ‘holier than thou’ to continue giving the same opinion at the start of the tournament. I actually don’t understand your objection here. Are we supposed to just shut up because we’ve known about it for years?
Everyone in the LGBT group that I have contact with kicked up an absolutely massive fuss when it was announced.
It's everyone else I have an issue with.
No one is supposed to shut up. That's exactly what they're asking you to do when you get there.
It's best to vote with your feet, as they say.

Why should they be invisible? Or made to feel invisible? Is it inconceivable to you that an oppressed minority might want to assert their identity? Maybe not even in a visible protest way, but as a self-validating statement?
They absolutely shouldn't be invisible. That's exactly the point. By going there, they either have to be, or they'll be put in cells.
This is a classic case of the holier than thou brigade making a massive deal about something when its far too late, and that should have been tackled head on when it happened.
It's the same for the LGBT fans of Man City and Newcastle.
So I'll ask again. Why would anyone from that group even consider stepping foot inside that shithole?
