  1. Phil Jones. Was seriously pissed off United got him even though I knew nothing about the cunt.
  2. I have a mate who's a season ticket holder down there and says their fans were pretty much all on his side. That helps.
  3. This is the first step to recreating the Mbappe Dembele combo that shat all over Ingurland a couple of years back.
  4. I'm relatively happy that we won't be signing either of these jabronis.
  5. It's a fair shout though. Any manager that's won the league or Big Ears whilst managing in England, has previous, aside from Robert Di Matteo who took over halfway through the season, and Claudio Ranieri who has won a fair few lower league titles and some decent cups. And neither were brought in (nor expected) to win. I never bought into the Pochettino hype. Rodgers came closer to winning the league and Martinez won the FA Cup with Wigan!
  6. Reminded me of Hendo's winner at the Bridge a couple of years back
  7. Absolutely brilliant performance, only bettered by Joe the Magnificent Gomez. Kids were great and what a goal from the boy Jones. Its 4 am in Brisbane and I'm so made up, get the fuck in.
  8. Wouldn't swap him or Van Dijk for anyone in world football. Wouldn't swap our fullbacks for any fullbacks in the world either. These 4 are the reason we've gone from a good team to the what in the world.
  9. And another 50 or so coming up over the next couple of seasons too
  10. I get your point about wanting to win it, and I'm exactly the same. But quite frankly, if you give a fuck about what their potential win might mean they're going to say about what could have happened, you've got bigger problems than most of us. Problems Klopp couldn't care less about, and rightly so. I couldn't believe the side he picked for the league game, and it turned out to be a superb decision in more ways than one. Imagine if we'd played our first team, fresh and ready. We're so far ahead of them, it's meant them blowing millions on trying to remain relevant while we have every football fan in the world looking over at us with traumatic envy. The league is the one we've all been desperate for, to a degree where mental health has to be a serious factor if we don't manage to win it come what May. A significant portion of our core fanbase have never seen us win it, and the rest have suffered for most of their lives with false dawns and incredibly incompetent decision making. We've rectified that, and how. Finally, if the points lead means we currently have means we can risk line ups, save that 'luxury' for Ol' Big Ears and win that fucker as well.
  11. I hope this type of thing happens, and continues to happen. Comparing what they do to what we do, and keeping an eye out for where we 'struggle' while we run away with the league and batter the best teams in Europe and around the world. The more they convince themselves that all is going according to plan, the more it hurts them at how successful we have and will become. We've had years of experience of this ourselves while they won everything and gave two flying fucks about what we thought about how they were doing it. And all this while we continued to delude ourselves with 'evidence' to justify the fallacies.
  12. He was brilliant for large parts of the game. To be balanced though, it was his error that led to the Gomez booking that stopped our momentum. I'll have to see it again to be sure, but it looked like another one of his 'don't fancy that' moments, and could have cost us at 1 nil.
  13. How good was that? As high quality a performance as you're likely to see form any team in the world at any point in history. We really are a magnificent side now, and we can even afford an off day performance or 2, which would have been unheard of a season or 2 ago. Gomez and VVD have the potential to be as good as anything we have ever had, and the full backs probably already are. Great header from Bobby. That's 3 in 3 and it's about time he hits a bit of a purple patch. What Mane was doing for that for the chance is beyond me. Stick your right foot through it man. I think that's been on his kind since (notice his reaction at missing that chance). Oh, and Brendan Rodgers can fuck right off.
  14. With our team, and Man City's quality, any combined eleven involving anyone from the other 18 clubs is a non starter for me, Clive.
  15. He'll go back to the pretending to take it off then wagging his finger in a teacher telling off way, the mad bastard.
  16. We could try and convince either Lucas or Klavan (or both) to come back for the rest of the season on loan. Experienced, know the system and would love to grab a league winner's medal.
  17. Everton now have a better manager than both Arsenal and Manchester United. Never thought I'd ever say that. We're not the ones who should be worried, its the former giants and those in and around them. Here is another team potentially competing for the top 6 within 18 months, if not sooner. Their biggest problem over the years has been constantly losing to the big teams, specially away from home. Hence, their lack of trophies and the ability to even challenge for them. That's going to change now, and possibly almost instantly. This manager knows what he's doing, and it's a massive move by Everton - probably their biggest since signing Lineker.
