It has also burned through half of its liquid asset fund that was setup to support the war, and the Ukrainian's are now targeting Russia's ability to produce and sell oil. Hopefully the circle that surrounds Putin are beginning to feel the pinch. It is all a bit irrelevant though I admit - Trump will save the day for them.

I like it, but it feels like they are trying to cover too much. It feels rushed, particularly ep 8. Band of Brothers was great because it chose to focus on particular moments in the war, whereas this seems like it is trying to cram lots of perspectives into each episode and not really doing any of them justice. It's not bad, but I can't help but feel it could have been better.

Yeah true. A 4080 Super will probably last me around 3 years+ before warranting an upgrade. It's just a shame they are so fucking expensive. 1k for a graphics card seems insane.

Going to build my own next month (which sounds fancy but it's just adult lego really). What card did you opt for? 4090s are too pricey, so I'm debating whether to get a 4080 Super or something less powerful and then upgrade to the 5 series when they are released.

We are just 10 days away from 2 years of Putin's war. I'd say the Ukrainians are doing a lot better than the world expected. 2024 & 2025 will depend upon western support. If Trump gets in power, then it's the end of Ukraine as we know it and probably the end of NATO. But even if he doesn't, the Russian supporters in the Republican Party will do their best to ensure a Ukrainian defeat. It's not going to be easy.

The main take was Putin was given a platform for an unchallenged speech by a Russian patsy. And frankly it doesn't matter who you believe - the Ukrainians chose to fight and the majority of their population still support the decision.
