Do we each have to condemn the Holocaust and more importantly Toxteth O’Grady before we can post anything else, because Rico says so? Peak internet, this.

For the record, Hitler, I’m not a fan. Not a great role model for the kids.

I'm wondering does Rico have a list of everyone he expects to comment on such posts. Riveting stuff, this.

The highlighted bit is a play on UVF and IVF, it is a commonly used joke and it is fucking harmless

The whataboutery is pointing out where jaffa stands when it comes to distasteful terms, and guess what, spastic is one of yours too. That make you a cunt?

I guess you're a bit pissed off because I had to explain sectarianism to you as well. Ah well.

I assume you can find plenty of examples on the Internet of this "commonly used joke" then, A RedWhiteAndBlue?

Do you ever ask me questions? Seems like you just decide for me what I think, without actually bothering to find out.

What are your thoughts on the British Army murdering innocent civilians during the Troubles? Should an Army be given free reign to enter a state and shoot on sight?

    I'll start with those two.

You asked me to answer this and the reason I asked for further context is that I don't really understand the question, not because I won't answer it. If you insist though, I'll try to answer it  as best I can.

Am I happy that Ian Paisley has been pictured with Nigel Farage? I don't care about it and I don't have an opinion. If you want to say they're a pair of bellends, I'll not disagree.

Without you providing the context behind the question, I'm assuming (and, honestly, correct me if I'm wrong) you're suggesting that I should in some way condemn it or I'm in some way associated with it? How am I? Like I said, what's it got to do with me? You seem to be implying/assuming (again, correct me if I'm wrong) that I vote DUP or have some political affiliation with Nigel Farage? I've never voted DUP in my life and I voted remain in the Brexit vote.

Thanks for answering, at least you are able to do that. I retract my previous post.

Oh look, here's Carradona posting another story about people he doesn't like, proving my point yet again and all this in the context of refusing to acknowledge making sectarian comments. Sure, never worry, it's only the absolute cunts in "Unionist, poppy-shagging corner" who might notice.

Are you happy that a prominent DUP figure is cosying up with Farage and other right wing gobshites from the Reform UK party?

"I cant be a racist because I like some of them"

Look, you know and I know calling me a unionist poppy shagger is sectarian, it quite clearly is the case.  If I called you a Republican and a cunt in the same sentence, its is the same as calling you a republican cunt. Sectarian. You are a republican and I have no problem with that but the fact that you are, saying what you said and bearing in mind Enniskillen, magnifies it.

I didn't accuse you of bigotry by the way but any sectarian statement implies it, whether you are or not.  You asked for an apology, I will give you one if it is ever shown I've said anything to you that warrants it.

Some people on here will think i'm a tedious cunt, on this issue I probably am. There has been a lot of sectarianism aimed at unionists on this site but there has been none going the other way. I suspect you are probably a decent bloke that bears no ill. I could be wrong and you're a total cunt. We'll see.

I don't think you're as smart as you try to be with your "I suspect" and "we'll see" nonsense. What has Enniskillen got to do with any of this, anyway? I questioned if it was a one sided piece or did it mention the other Community in that area who had no access to public jobs and limited access to state funding.

That's when Strontium Dog came wading in with a sweeping statement that Protestants were ethnically cleansed from NI during the Troubles.

We'll leave it at that anyway until the next time some little wanker from the Creggan acts the cunt and it doesn't immediately get mentioned on here.

  7. 8 hours ago, A Red said:

Well, you used it directly to me referring to Unionism. It wasn't a reaction to anyone saying you should wear one or glorifying the actions of the britsh army. In case you hadn't noticed its April, no one is talking about poppies let alone "insisting" anyone should wear them.

You know exactly what you are saying and the meaning taken when you refer to "poppy shaggers in the unionist  corner" Pensioners blown up for celebrating the meaning of the poppy. So you can fuck right off with your apology. Now, if you can find any example of me using a derogatory sectarian term or language or bigotry for that matter, I'll gladly apologise and promise never to do it again. In the meantime I repeat, fuck right off.

I called you a Unionist and a poppy shagger. I didn't say all Unionists are poppy shaggers, or whatever it is you're trying to make up above. I know a few sound Unionists, truth be told.

I also didn't mention anywhere that you used a sectarian term, so fuck knows why you're bringing that up.

    Search hun or poppy shaggers

Poppy shaggers are the pieces of filth who try and force poppies on everyone despite the fact the Army had a disgusting and long lasting impact on a large community in Ireland. Its the people who have the twisted mindset of "just shut up and wear it, it's only a little fake flower".

It's nothing to do with unionism, so wind your neck in and I'll await your apology for calling it sectarian. As for "hun", I've said on here before that it's clearly a derogatory term and I was raised not to say it where I grew up.

    Wise up.

Thank you for the constructive response.

  9. 56 minutes ago, The Golden Eel said:

Obviously not and nor did I expect anyone to do that.

You may have missed my point, which, in case it's not obvious, is that some people are on here posting anything that paints unionists/protestants in a bad light, then essentially using it as an excuse to make casual borderline sectarian comments and perpetuate ludicrous ignorant stereotypes. I can assure you that if that the other day had happened in a unionist/protestant area after some type of Orange parade, it'd have been posted here, with the usual suspects lining up to make such remarks. So, what's this thread about? Is it about posting shit that kicks off in Northern Ireland, and if so, is it not surprising that nobody posted about the violence the other day seeing as it was a high-profile news story?

    Where are the sectarian comments/bigotry?

Breaking - Netanyahu: Aid workers killed by ‘unintended’ Israeli strike

Israel’s leader described an Israeli air strike in Gaza that killed seven aid workers, including six foreign nationals, as “unintended” and “tragic”.

“These things happen in wartime,” Netanyahu added, saying an investigation is under way.

‘We’re investigating, we’ll get back to you’

    Reporting from occupied East Jerusalem

The Israeli military’s statement regarding the strike on the aid convoy that killed seven humanitarian workers in Gaza, including six foreign nationals, is one of its longest statements we’ve seen in the past six months.

This goes to show when foreign nationals are involved, Israel has to respond and it has to respond quickly.

Bibi Hitler is one lying piece of shit.

I was merely pointing out that ethnic cleansing happened on both sides, north and south, well reported on one (rightly so) not so much on the other.

Not sure why you keep on with the poppy shagging comments

I'll stop with the poppy remarks whenever British Army scumbags stop making the news for being involved with loyalist paramilitaries.

  13. 26 minutes ago, Strontium said:

Well, no, because I've not told any lies. If I'd told any lies, you'd be able to highlight at least one of them.

You're negging me because I posted a truth that was uncomfortable for you, because you are a sectarian bigot, and so is Bjornebye for that matter.

The fact you seem to think I'm a "Unionist" proves that you haven't got the first fucking clue about anything.

And you're a racist meff. Throwing around accusations is so easy.

  14. 3 minutes ago, Strontium said:

Imagine negging someone for highlighting ethnic cleansing. Imagine being that much of a meritless oxygen thief.

The truth is that you're being negged for being a sanctimonious liar, but carry on. It's been a tough day for the Unionists, I'll give you a pass now.

It's clear that you and Carradonna are angry with me for drawing attention to the ethnic cleansing of Protestants in Northern Ireland, every single neg proves that much. True colours shining through brightly here.

Have yourself a read about Catholic oppression in Northern Ireland and try not get a hard on over the details. "Ethnic cleansing of Protestants in NI"...You're a pathetic WUM.

Oh, that was a serious question and not shit-stirring whataboutery?

Maybe you should write your own doctoral thesis. Might need better sources than the usual trust me bro, though.

So that's a no, then? It's a one-sided opinion piece? I wonder why the research thesis only begins in 1969...

Edit: oh, and negged for being your usual sanctimonious self. I'll await your petty little revenge neg.

I won't get a chance to read all 345 pages today but given that it's a "thorough piece of research", is there anything in there about those same Protestants in Fermanagh (and all other counties in the North) having access to public service jobs whilst their Catholics friends did not have the same access?

Still waiting for an answer to this, @Strontium? Or even you, @A Red, since you seemed to like the thesis?

Or has it all gone a little quiet over there in the Unionist, poppy-shagging corner?
