Assuming that your question is to me and not yourself, I'll try to answer.First and foremost, I would have stood by my player (especially as I have just uttered my support publicly last week). If that means taking it through all levels of appeal, then so be it.
You think that'll be detrimental to the player and the club. You might be right, but it might also be argued that it would be very, very detrimental to our star player to be let down by the club and be hanged out to dry as a racist worldwide.
Supporting Suarez through appeals should be aided by a pr campaign where the club should try to explain to all the bandwagon-jumping idiots out there that the defence of Suarez has nothing to do with condoning racism, but is just a case of trying to clear an innocent mans name. I know that would have been an uphill battle, but I thought it would have been worth a try. With the nice side-effect of being able to look at yourself in the mirror in the morning without feeling sick, of course.
And please go easy on the name calling, Major Tom. It doesn't really do you any good.
Still very dismayed with the club over this.
