All I'm thinking is that we need 5 more wins - 15 points to take us to 40. Where are they going to come from? We've only won 7 all season. I can't get my head around this.

I know that Rafa has looked at David Wheater in the past. He may be a good signing dependent upon the price - from a relegated team.

It's pissing me off, either way. How incredible would Anfield be with a doubly big Main Stand, and proper Anfield Road end? Better than a soleless new stadium any day. I wrote to Parry about it years ago and he sent a reply - to his credit!

With regards to a full-scale redevlopment of Anfield, I have often thought that it would be worth losing ticket revenue from the main stand for a season (or part of one), to rebuid it and double its capacity. I understand that this would not be too difficult as there is scope for this within the planning. 55,000 supporters is better than 45,000. The new Anfield Rd end is a shambles too and that should have been much bigger when it was rebuilt. Anfield redevelopment - why not?

It might be time to start hoping for Chelsea wins and Drogba goals in a few weeks. Finishing third, with Chelsea winning the league is preferable to finishing second and Man U winning the league.

I see what you mean when you look at each game. The West Ham game was one which we deserved to win (two off the line and so on). I agree with the Stoke comments too. I suppose I'm just trying to put my finger on why we are dropping so many points at home. I don't think it has to be just down to selection though, look at Monday night and how deep the defensive line got.
