His point is maybe that Blair wasnt in office cause ooo he cared so much that he turned down a higher salary it was so that he could be having corruptions and then after a few years he can leave office and pick up all the pay offs totally legally.

People dont need anything right now they are driven to consumption by companies who try to make them think that. This ethos that you talk about is what marketing is all about propagating.

That has nothing to do with it. The banks imposed the charges. The fact that a customer incurred a penalty doesnt make it OK for the bank to abuse him.

Whats with this Überresponsibility. The bank charges are being claimed back because they were extortionate not because its OK for people to act irresponsibly with their finances.

It should come from the people with loads of money not the ones that go down the fucking local.

I think that the media really are just the medium. The only thing that they want to make us do is to be haveing them. Religious belief is persecuted because it is compared as a scientific theory and the comparison is disappointing. But there is obvious evidence that religion is valueable to people. In fact, religion is about spirituality. It is a subjective experience that is not available to scientific observation. But these kind of experiences are discounted in a materialistic culture except by those on the fringes.
