  1. I hope we do the bulk of our transfer activity before the the tour of Asia.
  2. wouldn't be surprised if its Van Basten with Hiddink as technical director.
  3. I still cant believe he has done this, he has completely burnt his bridges at LFC and you never do that no matter what job you do. I was just coming around to the idea that he was leaving but this still hurts bug time.
  4. saw the interview on SSN I thought he looked uncomfortable and tense - What the hell have you done Fernando?
  5. Just watched SSN live update from melwood - Torress has just arrived the rest of the squad were in at 9am for training so he obviously won't be training today then. Have a very bad feeling about all of this now it does look inevitable that he will be gone.....but why chelski Nando?
  6. This whole saga is very strange, ruined my weekend and I cant even remember the last LFC player to put in a transfer request.......
  7. Does anyone know the name of his agent?
  8. An admission they got their due diligence wrong and are putting the club up for sale.
  9. Roy Hodgson press conference has moved to 2.30pm.....hopefully to coincide with the takeover news. Fingers crossed
  10. Lets not forget we have all been here before with the whole fiasco first time around with DIC. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a last minute glitch and the whole deal fell through. Fingers crossed anyway.....
  11. Lets not forget Gillett has got other stuff going on with this investor it may well be the other deals that have all been sorted out.
  12. Can RBS and Wachovia force through a sale? and could that "veto" have been changed as part of the extension and refinancing of the debt?
  13. Can anyone confirm whether the Kuwaiti Royal Family were at the match? ------------------------------------------------------ Kuwaiti royal family keen viewers at Chelsea v Liverpool06 October 2009 | By Adam Kuwaiti royal family, long since linked with a move to buy an English soccer club, attended Chelsea's match with Liverpool this weekend, which ended in a 2-0 victory for the London team. Though Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is not believed to be seeking any investment in his team, the same cannot be said of Liverpool's co-owners, Tom Hicks and George Gillett, who have appointed Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Rothschild to advise on possible investments. Last week Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdullah, a member of the ruling family of Saudi Arabia, claimed that he was close to agreeing a deal to invest in Liverpool. He attended the match against Hull last weekend to discuss tie-ups between F6, his investment company, and Gillett's Richard Petty Motorsports Nascar franchise, as well as the possibility of establishing Liverpool-supported youth academies in Saudi Arabia. This weekend also saw more controversy for Liverpool, with Gillett reportedly criticising both Hicks and coach Rafa Benitez in an interview with a representative of the fans' union Spirit of Shankly.
