@mattyq where the fuck are you

You cheeky swine... I seem to remember you and Stringy talking knowledgably about the best strap ons money could buy with them and, I have to say, that along with the damage to my eyes from Turdseye's cargos I was getting a bit nervous

This was exacerbated when you tried to pull the one that looked like Tommy Robinson

    Good times

  2. Think it's human nature to look for a change or split if things aren't great.

This can be a good thing or a bad thing

You'll need a strong and realistic plan and good and honest people to lead and implement it.

Therein lies the problem with Scots Indy, Brexit etc etc

Shit plans that promise the Earth led by the worst people imaginable... what can possibly go wrong? A fucking lot

  3. Really enjoyed ep3 but same thing is starting to happen... Dr Who dodges a million arrows and finally gets 1 in the chest and one in the thigh and waltzes off like nothings happened for a climactic battle offscreen.. just a bit unlikely

Im not sure there's any 'main' reason to be honest. Seems more a cocktail of shit events mixed together at bad time. Inflation was ticking up pretty significantly even before the war started, which has now exasperated it completely.

Not sure what you mean by the second part in terms of the alternative, I couldn't care less who its peddled by, I'm not going to dismiss something out of hand just because its coming people I typically wouldn't agree with or dislike.

The £ has been going down against the $ since the financial crisis in 08 though. Brexit certainly hasn't helped it but suggests something more fundamental is an issue, I'm not an economist though so not sure what that would be exactly.

I expect you're right re there not being a main reason why Sterling has performed badly over the last 15 years although economic mis management by the Government will be up there along with everything else already mentioned

Re Covid inflation that seems to be supply side related much more than demand side so QE, Furlough etc were marginally inflationary as opposed to the Supply Side Crunch which caused the majority of the damage
