1. Thought they were brilliant Rem. Fantastic gig, the whole audience was spellbound. They didn't play Sister at the Manchester gig either, think Strange Times replaced it. I'll definitely be looking to see them next time they tour. Saw Noel Gallagher since then in the MEN, and again, it was a great gig. Good atmosphere and plenty of Oasis favourites thrown in. Haven't got anything lined up now until June, when I've got Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen and The Stone Roses all within 2 and a half weeks of each other. I am considering going to see Glenn Tilbrook ( of Squeeze fame ) in St.Helens on the 10th May. Love Squeeze and he should be doing a few of their songs and some of his own material. Tickets are only £16. Glenn Tilbrook & Nine Below Zero - Concert in St Helens, St Helens - Citadel
2. My mate done it and said it was a piece of piss. Got there at 9, two hours of listening to someone drone on about speeding, a couple of hours in the car with an instructor and he was in KFC at about half one finished. I'd just do it. More info on it here : Speed Awareness Course - No Penalty Points

10. Some of these clearly shouldn't be guilty pleasures. An example of a guilty pleasure would be this : I have no defence for it, I was only about 12 when it was out, but still.

14. Found a picture, at the right hand side of the stage you can see where the bar area is through the open area, and there are doors to the bogs and to get out at the back where the picture is taken. Looks like there are some seats at up top at the side though, maybe give them a call and see it there are any available? Edit : Looks like it's just a balcony area.
15. I think your 9 year old is too young tbh, we were packed in like Sardines and I'm sure there will be plenty of student knobs pushing and shoving as it's a student place.
16. I went to see beady eye in mountford hall last year, and it was quite rowdy to be honest. Can't see Newton Faulkner being as bad, but it's basically one big room with people standing and a bar right next to it. Will you be standing, and is there an age limit on bringing kids?
17. Was going to mention a couple of serial killers in the Great mans hair thread, but thought I would bump this and see Brendan has it covered. Though he seems to be confusing weird with great. And how nuts was Jon Snow, eh?
18. No, people who live near Liverpool from areas such as Widnes, Ormskirk, Runcorn etc... are wools. Someone from London, Birmingham etc... are out of towners. There are various definitions of a wool : Urban Dictionary: woolyback Or

20. Oi!! It's not a cold. It is a nasty, vicious virus that is threatening my plans to sink 10-15 pints on Sunday. It cannot be allowed to win.
21. Tell me some cures for man flu, bitches. I have a severe bout of it that is threating my plans for Sunday. Also, preferably cures that don't involve Brandy. Yes, I'm looking at you Uncle Meat.
