Fab had a horrible season, we all agree about that. Does it mean he’s done for sure ? He’s still young for a number 6, maybe it was a one year burn out after that incredible season + the World Cup ? Agree with that. That used to be the case in france with Nantes. So many players looked terrific there and were average in other teams : Pedros, Loko, Oudec …. Wouldn’t say likewise for a few players like Deschamps, Deailly or Makelele though !

I have always liked and rated Jordan Henderson, and I know I’m in the minority here. I have had lots of respect for him as a player, as a skipper and downs and as a human being. I know he has been instrumental in all these trophies thanks to his football skills and leadership. Him going to Saudi Arabia does not make sense to me. It does not fit in with what he has been all these years. This is just football and he’s just a footballer, so I don’t feel betrayed, but I feel sad and a bit concerned by what is going on.

Anelka was a cunt, totally the opposite of the Liverpool way. The fall out was obvious had he stayed. Houllier is way overrated thanks to the treble. He did good things off the pitch but that was common sense in continental Europe at the time. The football was horrible. And his transfer record is appalling ….

Thuram is a really good, I saw him play twice this year , at Lens and at Brest. Typicall box to box player, physical, clever, good guy, well educated thanks to his mother Lilian ( that’s for you, Dave, shame on you). He got a cap for France, played well, could have scored.
