  1. A clueless performance! Why attack so narrowly when they pack their central defense? TAA drifting in from his flank is OK when Salah is there at the sideline, but not when nobody is. It had to stop. Preferably with TAA understanding himself or being told. We were much better when Neco came in. Double up on the flank would work. Yet we kept feeding the ball into their pockets. Terrible, absolutely terrible from Klopp this time. From the second we were 11 against 10 it was obvious Milner slowed things down. We need to react to stuff like that, not wait another 40 mins of playing time before making the obvious change to Curtis Jones. Still think we’ll end up at Wembley though. But we really need to sort out this situation with Mane/Salah not available. We can’t continue to play as if they’re playing. Adapt to the situation for God’s sake!
  2. I don’t think we should’ve asked for a postponement. Instead we should’ve just told the EFL about the situation and let them decide. If they decided ”play!” we should field a team consisting of whoever was available from the U23, U21 and even U19 teams. We’d probably get beat by 5 or 6 goals and could graciously congratulate Arsenal for their glorious achievement. If, on the other hand, the EFL decided not to piss on their own tournament, the postponement would be all on them. We need to leave the cups alone anyway. We’re forced to prioritize, as we already do, the PL and the CL. Let the oil clubs share the cups between them. They’ll be the only ones who can afford having strong enough squads to compete in these competitions. We should use the cups as a welcome practice for our youths, nothing more.
  3. If the EFL forces us to play this match with our U 21’s we’ll probably be knocked out before the Anfield match. Consequently we’ll not use any seniors for the 2nd match either. Next year, when we enter at round 3, Kloppo should still pick his U 21’s. If a team of kids was good enough for EFL in January 2022, it’s good enough in September 2022 as well. We can’t be accused of pissing on the tournament. The EFL will be doing all the pissing themselves
  4. Actually best case scenario is no games. There's still a slight hope Afcon will be cancelled or postponed
  5. We better beat Leicester (Caraboe cup) next week then. If not there’ll be two fine spots in the fixture list in January to play postponed PL games. We need to be occupied with those two semi finals.
  6. Exactly! That's why it's so good he scored a couple yesterday and will continue to score every now and then, making it difficult maybe even impossible, to drop the lazy f**cker Catch22 really. Glory glory ....
  7. A bad performance. Yet West Ham imo was lucky to get away with the 3 points. Agree Cresswell should've been given a straight red. Can't understand that blocking the keeper as they did on the first goal isn't penalised. We should take advantage and do the same thing. West Ham has obviously practised this on the traininmg field. Not sure I like the rule but we need to adapt.
  8. So, she got battered, the abusive bloke asked for forgiveness. Now it looks promising, maybe just maybe he'll come good? Sweetheart, it won't be long before he's om the boozer again.
  9. Yes, Klopp seems like a man who’d like to move on, but there’s also a personality thing, how you view other people, the level of empathy. If Ferguson had 12 y old son coming to him for help with at difficult school assignment, Fergie would be a good dad and help the lad to a better grade. Klopp, however, would say; ”listen son, school’s there for you to learn from. I think the best way for you to learn is to do the assignment yourself without my help. Go on son and show them what you can do”.
  10. I guess all boys end up in a fight with someone sometime. It’s just part of growing up. If you lose a fight it’s OK, you could still have the respect of your mates and others. If you’re “saved” by your dad or some teacher you’re doomed. Way to go Fergie, take care of your little boy.
  11. Good post One thing I’m sure of though. Klopp won’t be seen at the training field interfering or even commenting the new gaffer’s job. He’ll know better than to undermine the respect of the new boss. Klopp has always been sincere and straight forward. I guess it's his style as a coach and as a man. When he says he’ll quit when his contract ends, that’s exactly what he’ll do. The end of his reign is near. He’ll probably want to hand over a healthy competitive team to his successor.
  12. They'll probably lose their 2 next matches, and that's the end of the story. But one should never underestimate the football God, he's one twisted f**er him. Looking forward to two very undeserved victories for Ole.
  13. This was great for 60 mins. After that the two captains and the ref could as well have agreed to blow the final whistle (I know it's not allowed to do that). Annoying to see we stopped playing. In retrospect with regard to the frustration shown by the manc players, it was a good decision. The last thing we needed was another injury concern. One question though: What would the match look like if Fernandes had scored his huge chance early at 0-0. Might have been a different story if he did.
  14. Our long term problem is our team is ageing. Our biggest mistake as far as transfers are concerned was not to secure the signature of the Liverpool fan, the scouser named Joe Gelhardt, now at Leeds. It may not be too late. Pay what's needed to bring the lad home.
  15. There's a football God up there somewhere with a bizarre sense of humour. He'll twist things so that ManU comes away with a win and a draw in their two next matches, Spurs and Citeh. Then what?
  16. Whoever takes over at Old T inherits one big problem: Christiano Ronaldo. Whoever takes over at Old T inherits one smaller problem: Paul Pogba.
  17. Finding a new gaffer takes time, they'll need an interim manager until the end of the season. One man stands out; the legend Christiano Ronaldo as playing manager. Please Glazers, give us another episode of this comedy!
  18. Naby’s goal: 1. Luke Shaw plays Mo on-side … 2. Runs back to play Naby onside … 3. Then according to the Echo: ”Luke Shaw criticises Manchester United team-mates after Naby Keita Liverpool goal” This comedy is hilarious. A pity it's soon coming to an end.
  19. The odds are just 16:1 on Ronaldo as their new manager. Someone's having a real laugh...
  20. Apparently Ronaldo has recommended the board of MU they should replace Ole with Zidane. Well, if that’s not showing respect to the gaffer, what is? Surely Ole will bench him for disrespect. Oh wait a minute, Fergie has told him he should play, so maybe not.
  21. I said from the beginning the return of the mighty Ronaldo would be a huge mistake long term. I'm now starting to realize it's actually a huge short term mistake as well. Yet everyone over there demands he should play, even Ferguson. He's stuck in his corner now Sunny boy, damned if he leaves him out damned if he plays.
  22. 61 goals for us from his RB position, none of them pens or free kicks. Solid as a rock defensively. Comparing players from the past to players now is difficult, but my vote also goes to "the ghost".
  23. I'm a true supproter of the "keep-Ole-at-the-helm" campaign. This late winner from the allmighty fits my agenda perfectly. We can't have them loosing all the time. It could cost Ole his job.
  24. This could be utter tosh, but could Curtis Jones do a job for as deputy for Arnold at right back? I don't know if he's ever played RB. Anyone knows? At the moment with Thiago out our best midfield 3 probably are Fab-Hendo-Curtis, so it might not be a good idea
  25. I'm not so sure this is unfortunate. The signs are there to argue that him staying at home will benefit both Curtis Jones and Liverpool F.C. Way too early to make any conclusions but Curtis could soon be one of the first names on our team sheet. A midfielder who actually takes a shot outside the box. Yes please!
