  1. Earlier today I realized we’re being fucked big time by a couple of old yanks, really fucked....... up the shitter. Then I go down to my local pub to see our reserves being fucked by a full strength Chelsea only to see we fucking outplay them even though the fucking ref awards us with two very dodgy yellow cards in the first half (bent?). Second half and fuckin’hell off goes MOM Alonso. Then the fucking inevitable deflection goal for them. Seconds later the fucking ref is at it again (bent?) sending Crouch off. Trying to swallow my anger with a pint our own fucking gaffer takes off Babel, the only fucking threat we could've had playing 10 against 11. I feel so fucked up my arse hurts. Is there a bookie around to take a bet I’ll be raped by a gang of poofs on the way to work tomorrow? At 2:1 I’d probably be a filthy rich man. Fuck all.
  2. So would I, and a lot of others too. Leeds' got almost 30k going to their matches. We'd probably have sellouts in league 1. So what is it to worry about?
  3. As it’s been said in another thread, the club are about to borrow a load of dosh. Some of it may or may not be used to build a new stadium. But a big slice of it will be used to pay back the yanks. For the club that means we’re borrowing millions of pounds of no use to us. I’ve got no proof this is actually happening. But your question was: Are you worried? You’re damned right I’m worried. Not to be would be plain stupid.
  4. The yanks are here for the money, nothing else. To believe otherwise is hopelessly naive. If I understand you correctly, the yanks could opt to make the club as profitable as possible. If so success on the field would be necessary. Or, if cash flow is bad, they could opt to milk the cow right now and end the fairytale a little earlier than they hoped for. If so they’d stop investing, stop using money. Then using the club to borrow as much as they can, transferring as much money as they could back to their own pockets. No stadium plan, no investment in players, no Masch deal. Hmmm…me says they’re on plan B.
  5. How could that be legal? You’re basically saying they’ve not invested a penny. They’ve had a short term outlay, which is now being returned. They own a club. If it’s successful they might earn money. If not, what the heck, bail out with no gain but no loss either. If this is true, I could in theory have bought the club myself. Borrow xxx millions from a bank, pay Mr. Moores, then transfer that loan onto the club. Voila!
  6. Back in 2004 before he was appointed Chelsea manager I remember Mourinho said something like “it’s one club I’d want to go to and one I’ve given my promise to.” At the time I felt quite sure “the one I want to go to” was us. Mourinho did say some pretty stupid things during his time with Chelsea. We’ve certainly responded to that shouting “fcuk off Mour-ini-ho” at every opportunity. The relationship between Jose and the Anfield crowd isn’t exactly a romantic love affair. If Mourinho after all this accepts the job at Anfield, I’d say 1) he’s got balls and 2) he's got a big desire to manage us. If so, I’m prepared to give him a chance. But Jose, a small change in attitude, please. I really hope the yanks will do the sensible thing and keep faith in Benitez. If, however, Rafa goes, I’d take Mourinho. Purely because I believe he’s the best option (Rafa apart) if we’re ever going to get hold of that no. 19.
  7. You’re right. We didn’t create chances. We’re simply not good enough when opponents sit back and defend. We had the same problems with Birmingham earlier this season. It’s a problem for us we need to sort out.

  9. Absolutely spot on. Fergie would never dear not to have two men on Torres if we’d leave him on the half way line. If they didn’t, they’d be punished. Even with two men we should be able to punish them, especially as we have the by far best goalie in the world in terms of starting play with at long pass. We’re so obsessed with putting men on top of each other inside the box, not only is there no Torres on the half way line, there’s no red shirt at the edge of the box either, giving Rooney time to carry the ball into our box and fire a shot/pass that of course ended up in our net. Fair play to the slur though. He’s obviously studied how we defend corners and found a way to score. Demento did his homework.
  10. Thanks for clearing things up for me. I know we have some very strict alco advertising rules up here in Norgie. Didn’t know they had the same silly rules in winemaking country France. How on earth is Bordeaux allowed to play?
  11. When we played in Marseille there was no Carlsberg on our shirts. Does anybody know why?
  12. If G+H decide to sack Rafa, they’ll have to bring in someone else. The new gaffer would have ideas on his own. He’d probably want to sign some new players. Also, a couple of players would probably leave us. If they sack him G+H better be prepared to back the new one with a lot of money, or else accept lower ambitions for the club. Either way, it’s bad for business. I pin my hope to the fact that G+H are businessmen. Would they really hurt their own investment? They can’t be that T.Hick, can they?
  13. Even though I don’t agree with your support for the Americans I’m not yet ready to label them as snakes. As far as they’re concerned, my jury is still very much out. I agree with you 100%, however, that this is not the time to start abusing them. We’re hoping our unanimous support for Rafa could have some effect, hopefully keeping him at Anfield. Maybe we can have an impact. But, if Wednesdays protest turns into an anti-American protest, we’ve lost our case.
  14. The Americans are prepared to use millions to try and keep the famous Anfield atmosphere. What other reason could it be to build the new stadium with a new Kop as the heart, Why use money on sound engineers? Taken they’re only looking after their investment, they must believe atmosphere is important for business. That’s where we can have a say. After all, the atmosphere is made by us, the fans. If we didn’t produce the sound, the singing and shouting, they would consider that bad for business. Atmosphere is the key. So the message should be: Keep Rafa and we’d still provide you with our songs. Sack him, and we won’t do it. 10% decrease in pies sales for 3-4 matches wouldn’t have much impact. Boycott is never going to help us.
  15. Hicks and Gillett care about their investment, after all they’re business men. But they seem to believe that the crowd is part of the product. They seem to believe that the passionate singing and shouting is essential when marketing their product. I suppose they might be right. They probably see us a herd of cattle that’ll shout and sing no matter what happens. Once again I suppose they might be right, three weeks after Rafa’s been sacked we’d still be there singing. But, in case they do believe the crowd is made of normal caring human beings, they might listen to what that crowd has to say. Worth a try maybe? Singing Rafa's nams load and clear for 90 mins, would get the message through. Boycott wouldn't
  16. According to Spanish DiarioSport Atletico Madrid is now preparing a bid for Alonso.
  17. In fairness kop88 made some valid points on how Hicks should not have handled this, I agree Rafa started the fire. However, putting out fire with gasoline is never a great idea. I guess we do have some cultural differences here. In the US employers never take any crap from their employees, they sack them! If an employer wants to shag the employee’s wife and he objects, that’s more than enough reason to sack him.
  18. No, Parry's not a fault. He's on holiday isn't he? Anyway, 16th December we could end up: Thrown out of Europe Beaten by the Mancs 12 points behind, title race over Rafa sacked taking Alonso with him to wherever he goes. No Mascherano deal Stevei G unhappy Torres unhappy Or we could end up: In the last 16 of the CL Trashing the Mancs Being top of the league with a game in hand Rafa’s transfer requests being backed by the Americans. Every player geared up for the last part of the season I say we better win those next 5-6 matches.
  19. The way I see it Rafa was the one to let it out of the house in the first place. I agree, however, that the cowboys shouldn’t escalate it by using the whip in public. They could’ve done that inside the house. But staying calm and keeping it indoors isn’t very cowboyish is it? Yeehaa..
  20. Rafa’s a man of his word, a man of integrity. I wouldn’t be surprised if he told us: “My job has always been to bring Liverpool back to the top. To do that I need money for new players. If I’m not given the money I can’t fulfill my promise to the club and the fans. That leaves me no other choice than to throw in my towel”. I really hope it doesn’t come to this.
  21. Some people like being pissed on, whipped and humiliated. They’re called “Mascheranochists“
  22. Worst case scenario: Rafa’s been told there’s no money available to secure the Macherano deal. It looks like he’s on his way to Barca. Then in the last minute Demento decides to give el Jefe a chance to team up with his old mate Tevez. If it’s any position the Mancs could improve their team it’s in central midfield. A player like Macherano would suit them perfectly. After the Heinze story this summer a Anfield to Old Trafford move would make a lot of mancs laugh ….. load and for a long time.
  23. I agree with you we should be able to look at this through the eyes of an investor. Not in a million years would Hicks/Gillett do a “Leeds-let’s-hope-we-qualify-for-the CL” decision. It’s just common sense to wait a couple of weeks and then see if we make it into the knock-out stages of the CL. There’s an element of pressure on Rafa here: Make sure you beat Porto and Marseille then maybe we can back up you plans. I’m not going to criticize Rafa for making this a public issue. He may have had his reasons. But there’s no doubt Rafa’s the one responsible for making it a public issue. The things he said on that press conference are the reasons we’re having this thread.
  24. Not even cowboys can be absolutely sure we'll beat Porto and Marseille. How do you expect them to know we're still in the CL after Christmas? Financially that's quite a difference isn't it? When the cowboys come over in December they'll know, and can then tell Rafa how much funds are available. We can't wait 3 weeks?
