What constitutes the perfect cooked breakfast?

I mean, you can use the British English spelling if you want, but I'll defer to the Levantine peoples who invented it. Some of them were probably my ancestors.

The McCartney sausages are funny ones, sometimes they come out dry and sometimes they're quite juicy. The Richmond veggie sausages are quite popular, I think they're okay but some people really love them. I quite like the Cauldron Foods ones, been a while since I had them though. My favourite veggie sausages of all time are the Tivall frankfurters, but I know better than to recommend Israeli companies owned by Nestle on this forum. Oh shi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummus *shrugs*

Didn't you spread the Swinson/squirrel stuff that was popularised by Brexit Party supporters? Pot/kettle

I have a strong idea of how this will be received here, but I present my findings in the interests of science. Joro Vegan Eatery, Birkenhead (takeaway). £6.50 Well, look. I enjoyed this. The beans, hash brown and tomato were exactly what you'd expect. The sausages were nice, similar to the Linda McCartney ones. The toast was buttered on the other side (well, not butter, obviously). The spinach/onion/mushroom mix was unusual but fine, and it all tasted good when I stuck it on the toast with everything else. The stuff in the pot is hummus, which has no business being on a breakfast.

    Inequality

It's one of those fallacies of illicit transference, isn't it - because stupid and lazy people are poor, all poor people are stupid and lazy.

    Inequality

Pretty sure in-work poverty has existed for a very long time, even if it wasn't called as such.

    Coronavirus

When I flew out to Spain last year the plane was half empty, but the flight back was packed (and quite unpleasant). Hope your experience doesn't mirror mine!

    Tokyo Olympics 2020 (21)

Humbling seeing the refugee team and reading their stories. Example: To find the motivation after that to not just go on, but compete at an Olympic games, is awesome.

Which drugs should be legal (supply and possession)

I know exactly what I said. I said that alcohol causes more harm than heroin. I'm not really interested in hypothetical theoretical scenarios at your local, just reality. Experts: Alcohol More Harmful Than Crack or Heroin (webmd.com)

Which drugs should be legal (supply and possession)

I think dying is pretty harmful. Regardless, David Nutt's harm index in The Lancet placed alcohol above heroin too. Worth noting also that most of the harm associated with heroin is due to it being illegal. Pure, clean diamorphine is a largely benign drug, albeit an addictive one.

Which drugs should be legal (supply and possession)

Insofar as more people are killed by alcohol misuse in this country than all illegal drugs combined.

Which drugs should be legal (supply and possession)

This is a bigger issue than the harm drugs themselves cause, isn't it. So much criminal activity stems from prohibition which would disappear overnight with legalisation. Alcohol causes more harm to its users than cocaine, heroin etc, but at the end of the day, the managers of your local Bargain Booze and Wetherspoons aren't engaged in a violent turf war, and women aren't selling their bodies to afford a bottle of blue WKD.
  19. The word 'rebuild' always makes me think of the Six Million Dollar Man ("We can rebuild him, we have the technology") although I suppose if Steve Austin was an FSG employee he would probably have been the 1.3 Million Dollar Amortized Over A Five Year Contract Man.

  22. Allegedly the 95% increase in wages is since 2015, and revenues have increased by 64% in that period. Personally I think this is somewhat selective use of statistics intended to portray us as cash-strapped.

Should Corbyn remain as Labour leader?

Hamas run Gaza. Surprised you didn't notice.

Should Corbyn remain as Labour leader?

Pretty sure it's just Hamas. The word "Hamas" is a dead giveaway.
